I've seen people say it's offensive to have a soap with just only black character's. Like BFFR. Like the soaps on now don't cater to white people

omg YES! They need to cast Sarah Joy Brown. That would be a GET!

The role was not very good, but I did like Brown's screen presence on B&B. She would be a good casting choice and draw in viewers who loved her on GH.

They'd be smart to get daytime legends and not a bunch of TP castoffs.

I doubt SJB would move the needle if hired....

She only shined on GH. I was thrilled when she joined ATWT but she just didn't fit on the show.

Absolutely. Although, I noticed that Tonya Pinkins did a recent guest stint on one of his shows and that woman is legend, any soap would be lucky to have her.

I think daytime legends who are still working will be the most sought after. Although some Tyler Perry alumni might make the cut especially the ones with daytime experience (for example someone like Tika Sumpter). 

I wonder if CBS will give the show a multi-year contract from the get go, along with the multi-year contracts with the cast. If they go only for one year, they could have a bunch of the cast leaving after year 1, requiring them to recast if the renew past year 1.
