Slighty related, CBS is showing Hollywood Squares at 2 pm ET rather than The Price is Right. This fills the gap between The Talk's cancellation and Beyond the Gates' premier.

It's just for this week:

Beleza Fatal? Thanks for making me aware of this. I haven't watched a novela in years but I'll give this a shot.

Yep! That one! It Sounds Good and will be a short 40 episodes, They're also working on a Remake of the Brazilian Classic "Dona Beija" which I'm equally excited about

Promo aired during last night's AFC Championship game on CBS:

The game was seen by 57.7 million viewers. The most watched AFC Title game since 1988.

Give me Your opinion once you watch it @Alan I would love and External opinion on a Brazilian Telenovela for a change!

I will!

As for Vivica Fox, I wouldn't be surprised if she shows up eventually in a guest role in between her Tubi and Lifetime gigs. I believe Atlanta residency is a requirement for series regulars so that limits the viability of bringing in well-known stars as contract players. While we are wish casting, it would be great to see Amelia Marshall make some recurring appearances as someone's relative. (Jacob Hawthorne's mother?)

She briefly discusses MVJ in this clip.

I've been playing catch up on my soaps so I've been liking the various tv spots that have taken the new extended trailer and show different parts of it (with Dani still front and center) and still keeping the same vibe.

Gosh, there are so many actors I'd love to see on BTG.  I won't be disappointed if none of them do, though!

Well, here's a question...at some point, I'm sure they will want a rival for Tamara Tunie to mix it up with? Who might fit the bill?

My guess? Hayley Lawson's mother. Bill Hamilton's former mother-in-law vs. current mother-in-law would be the story.

Probably her. It would be fitting.

I mentioned Anna Maria Horsford ages ago. If not her then I think Janet Hubert would work. Or maybe a real wild card like Bern Nadette Stanis. Someone who is known by audiences from another show is ideal.
