Side note: I loved Hope's new hair when she first got the new cut and style. Today, the hairdresser who hates her was put in charge of making Hope look 10 years older and like Jane Jetson.

Horrible.  It was 1950s housewife.  Maybe she was playing games with Thomas wearing just an apron or something.

LOL!!! I howled at that line “on safari” because it was so unrealistic.

Not to mention there hasn’t been any mention of Marcus; no mention of brother John and nieces Jessica and the Vine; not a  nary mention of his absent numerous grandkids either. Thudley blows.

It was weird to not at least get a Marcus mention since Eric is with Donna again, and what are the odds that all of these other people are on SAFARI together at the same time??? That's what makes the idea of a "party" not work because a lot of the people who should be there won't be.

The writing for Carter is so patronizing it makes me cringe.

I can see Brad Bell telling the writers "Make sure Carter is referred to as family at least 3 times so the audience knows we care about Black people. As we go around the room and let each character speak at least one line, make sure Carter gets a line, too -- and that he expresses his gratitude at being a part of the Forrester family."

Yeah, I cringed at the line where Carter said he was grateful that Eric accepted him so quickly. It's like, why wouldn't he? What would the reservation be to not do so? It rang peculiar to me.

Side Note: I guess that international money well for B&B is drying up. How many times are they going to use that truncated runway room? Another heart to heart between Katie Logan and a random intern?

Can Eric just die already?

Agreed. I'd throw a party myself if he kicked the bucket.

#1 with a bullet.

We can start a separate thread to celebrate the at-long-last-death of a terrible husband, a lousy father, and a designer that Kohls would lay off after an evaluation that said "Makes the same thing all the time."

This is just stupid. How is it possible that Eric can hide his illness when he's a hot mess in ever way. It's just insane for Eric to be so selfish. John McCook acting choices for this story is horrendous too.

I just hope this does not mean she's going back to wimpy mode

12-1

I honestly can't believe that after having so much flow over the last few months and multiple stories, that now EVERYTHING has stalled to have the characters whine about Eric maybe dying.

Okay, I can believe it, but ugh!

I have been enjoying seeing so much of JG though. She's been selling Donna's connection and love to Eric.

I can't take Eric seriously as the Forrester patriarch. I saw him as Stephanie's husband and the father of her children. He was never a strong man, he was never a wise man and all his stories involved inappropriate affairs. The character lost any charm he had left when they started giving him these "funny", sleazy, "sexy" scenes.

However, if John McCook leaves the show, we are left with Brooke in a sea of random people and a(n even more) poorly structured Forrester family.
