God, I'm catching up and as of right now, I cannot believe this show is centered around Lady Whistle Tits or whatever it's called.

Oh. Well now, that's a game changer. Hahaha! I'm messin' with ya!

This stuff with Leo is just too much. Why? Because they're trying to make him comedic. And here's the thing! He's not funny. He's not even in the same zip code of 90210 of being funny.

And who's that pretty girl that got hired by Chanel? No, ma'am. No, thank you. I wouldn't be all up in Chanel's bullsh*t drama.

Great more flanel! I'm telling ya the wardrobe department went to Old Navy or something and had a huge blowout sell where you buy 2 and get one free. And you know what's so great about those sales? Ahhhhh! Because you can buy them in different sizes, see? Peter, you get a Large. Mary Beth, you get a Large or X-tra Large depending on what size you feel most comfortable in. Lucas, you get a Medium. Carson, you get a Large, but Ron C's boner wants you in something a little more tighter. We'll go to H&M for that.

Okay, I just got Punk'd. Hell yeah, my ass just got played. So, it's been the pretty girl hired by Chanel, lol! OMG! Here I was thinking for a new girl in town related to Jada, these people are immediately dishing out all their woes to her, but its been her all along to set Sloan up. But why? What is her motive?

Eric has been drugged twice in life thus far or am I losing count? I will never forget how steamy his sex scenes were with Queen Kristen. Well, that was rape but Eric and Queen Kristen were mighty tasty. Yum, yum, yum in my tummy, tum, tum.

I know she's a recurring character, but does anyone wonder if Melinda Trask is going to make Stefan pay? I mean, she was pissed. And then, she puked. Actually, the theme for today's episode was puke. Puking here and puking there. People puking everywhere. Going back to Melinda, ooooh child. That woman was pissed.

So yeah, apparently booze and biscuits make Salemites do crazy things in this town.

For those who know what I'm talking about:

I do not believe @Noel meant anything by their comment about Kristen and Eric's scenes being acceptable behavior on Kristen's part. As I saw it, the comment was just that: a comment about how they looked good in the bedroom as a pairing. Meaning the actors/characters when you take out the context.

If the comment was in reference to a real-life situation, I could understand some of the since-deleted responses.

Today's episode was a clear example of the dynamic between ideas and execution.

The twist resolves a lot of the initial questions about Talia's motives to work in a bakery given her history as a doctor.

However, the puking, the revealing costumes, and the lack of insight of any of the characters (including those that had drunk drugged cocktails within the past month) was absurd.

Agreed.  The actual idea isn't horrible.  I am interested as to why Talia is doing this.  The extra goofiness involved was ridiculous and the fallout is pretty easy to explain unless Nicole gets pregnant or something here.  And, yes, Sloan being the only one to realize people weren't acting normal was bizarre.  I guess Li wasn't far behind, but Wendy and Jada aren't dumb and they just didn't think anything was amiss?  I honestly didn't hate it as much as everyone else on here.  It was very silly and poorly executed as well as moving super quickly, but it was mildly entertaining.

To be honest I snoozed on Sloan's details about her parents, but was one of them a doctor?  And thus could they have been involved in whatever forced Talia to leave the profession which might explain her motives?

She seems to be setting up Sloan, but perhaps they are working together.

Hahaha! The "Peacock money" strangely reminds me of Mary Alice Dwyer-Dobbins when she left CBS Daytime. I don't know why though as I'm a weirdo.

Ahhh! Talia is her name. No, this biscuit stuff was so wild. I just wish that it happen immediately after Allie, Gwenyth (Gwen), Alex, and whoever got smashed at Small Bar and slept with someone else. OMG. Small Bar is like a hookup bar when you want sex.

    • Agree to disagree. Like first, love second. OH, agree, agree, agree! Legendary Featherstone, you're not dressing this one well at all. Petite woman with ample bosom, wrong clothes = awful  matronly looking ugh. I'm sorry but I felt hit over the head with everything each of them thought & felt for about 6 more days than I felt I had signed on for.  I don't know you well enough to know if you will know when I'm teasing, so I've just warned you that I am when I say, I hate for you that you haven't actually met Danielle before. LOL. To me it was just a natural take.  I have no problem going back & forth between those two focal sites. But, I am certainly aware that early on I had an expectation of being really into their having 27 sets & that has definitely not been the realization. And, yes, for now, Frank is still heads above any & all others with us & sets IMO.  Huh? Guza gone. I have it in my head that he was only willing to come out of retirement (and presumed mourning) for a "certain amount of time" to help get this new creature launched, but had no desire to stay & so was one of the "over-staffed intentionally" that we were told about. Of course there's been no official word on the circumstances of his leaving.  But, you might mean go with Guza as in a style, if so, ignore the last para.

    • I'm so pleased we have such fan engagement about Dani. Reminds me of some other soap characters. I think it's because they are "polarizers" which is a word I may have just made up. They are polarizing on their shows to other characters & to story & they are polarizing in the audience as fans seem to have extreme reactions to them, love & hate, not middling neutrality, ya know? Well, it's a theory.  To me the human being you seek has been amply shown especially to two people & both more or less recently. Her sister bond with Nicole, whoa, has knocked me back & blown me away. And, with Chelsea, over her budding sexual identity and awareness. She gathered instantly that something was up with that daughter & was laser focused on her for several scenes. Then, for a third, she & Pamela have finally, also recently, been so real & genuine & authentic.
    • Thanks, Paul, I did not know about his interest in the comedic elements or that he was one of our many people who came from the network! I have always liked Marlena de la Croix's writing, which is not to say I 100% agree with her. She's been a member of my FB soap group for a good long time & she actually posts, which I love. Recently I posted about an e-copy of Robert LaGuardia's SOAP WORLD that is free to borrow like a library e-book but on the Internet Archive site & I posted that at the time of their publications, all of his soap opera books were the gold standard.  She immediately posted about "Bob" who was her close friend & how much she still misses him to this day & that he loved to talk soaps & was also a nice guy, etc. which I was over the moon to have her share about the author & his time etc. like that!!!
    • Just more RTD ego trips, seemingly his main reason for coming back.
    • Thanks @Paul Raven  That's a lovely writeup. Do fans feel it was warranted?

    • RIP to our hero, John Black

I really wonder why they chose to write this whole ‘John is getting better’ part of the storyline, especially since we all knew what was really going to happen. And I hope we find out the answer someday. But as tough and as tearjerking as today was, it was also really beautiful. And the acting, even though a lot of it if not all of it was real, was spectacular. The flashbacks were beautiful too. I honestly can’t even describe how much I enjoyed today.  Having so many of John and Marlena’s scenes be focused on the two of them and their love story was the right decision. It was a fitting end to John and Marlena. And I’m also glad that John and Steve got to have one last goodbye after everything that happened. As for Bo and Hope and their family, I did think that some parts were a little unnecessary but I really enjoyed Bo’s dream and his reunion with Zack. The acting playing Zack actually did a pretty good job too. Everybody encouraging Bo to fight was really the right decision in this storyline as well.  As for the final minutes of today, be prepared. I actually have tears running down my cheeks as I write this.
