Wonderful news. Did they already have Lorie and Leslie - did their appearance a year or two ago count for this?

(did Lorie even have one?)

I know Rex passed long ago, oncamera, but I hope they may take the opportunity to have Gina and Danny remember Rex, with flashbacks, to honor Quinn Redeker.

I also hope we may somehow get an Olivia return for Mamie, unlikely as that is.

Great to know Leanna, one of my old favorites, will be back too. And Nina. Almost makes me want to sit through an episode.

All of these returns are fantastic, but I never thought I’d see Veronica Redd as Mamie again so that is stunning! I hope and pray we get a scene with Jill! The only thing is that I wish they’d finally buckle down and bring back Dru or at least Olivia.

With all the media stories, Leanna should’ve been a regular pop up here and there. It’ll be nice to see Gina back with Danny and I’ll always root for Nina, one of the greatest Y&R characters of all time. She deserves a contract!

Glad to see all the returns for the 50th anniversary. Though I hope at least one of them stick around on a recurring basis i.e., Mamie or Nina. Perhaps Leanna could have a bitchy social media influencer daughter who stays on the canvas can lure Kyle away from Summer.

So classy of Barbara Crampton to do this, as she is a big gun in horror these days. She's always been happy to talk about her daytime career. I never thought they'd bring Mamie back.

And yes, Dru should be on this list but won't be. I'd love to be surprised.

    • As long as I'm not hearing the same redneck guitar musical sting Days has been using the GWB administration, I'm okay with BTG's evolving music situation.
    • Bo/Billie are in Night Sins but not together.  She's bantering with Jack about the manuscript and Bo is in love with Carly. He stops Carly from taking off with Lawrence and Nikki on a plane when he solves Lisanne's murder. Winter Heat is Bo/Billie focused.  Along with Vivian/Laura and Carrie and Austin I believe. Yeah, Bo/Carly and John/Isabella weren't exactly my thing so that's probably why I didn't love it.
    • Chase looked very hot today. Lulu needs to mind her own business. She's been so annoying ever since she came out of the coma. Tracy's reaction to Brook Lynn blurting everything was hilarious!

I'm waiting for Drew to tell Willow to jump off a cliff. She is so stupid and does everything Drew tells her to do.
    • I was very into both Bo/Carly and John/Isabella, so that's probably why. Add in early Jack/Jen, and that was another plus for me. (The subsequent special with Bo/Billie in...were they in "Night Sins"?...didn't work for me since I never liked Billie, no matter who played her.) And the Sami/Carrie rivalry exhausted me even then.

    • Overall, this was a satisfying episode. Eva's desperation to stop Dana was gut-wrenching. I know it is a cliche to say that Ambyr Michelle is the show's breakout star but she is dazzling. She makes the most out of every second she is on camera. And Kat has proven to be such a good rival. I'm looking forward to the fallout scenes from DD. At the Paley Center event Sheila Ducksworth said something to effect of everyone being heartbroken watching her scenes.  I'm also looking forward to seeing Dana interact the rest of the cast in her true identity since she has been more or less siloed for the past 3 months.
    • Finally, it's been a while since an entire episode was good.  LOL  Leslie and Eva are just the stars of this show. I get disappointed whenever they aren't gone.  So that was a good cliffhanger, however, I have to be a Debbie Downer just a bit......the music sucked and so did the fade out to credits. That final minute could've been so much better, so much soapier with proper background music and editing. I think it's time to move on and get a new music composer, music directors, and editors.  Bring in people who know how to produce a soap.
    • I agree. The McBrides, the Hawthornes, and the teens should have been there. Even Shanice and Ashley would have made sense to fill out the crowd since they work with Ted and Nicole. (Though BTG is probably saving the Lulu reveal for much later) I also would like to see the restaurant themed slightly differently for each event. We see the country club almost everyday, it would be nice to switch up the space for each special event with different dining chairs, different floral arrangements, pipe and drape, etc. They have done it before for the wedding and the fashion show. Everyone kept praising Eva for the party but the space looked the same as it always does.

Count me as a Doug fan
    • I mean...if I had to pick...this event so far definitely does not have enough extras vs Nicole's award event where I felt THAT had the right amount. This one...yeah...tear the lack of extras apart! lol.

Kim was cast before Don Stewart left GL.
