I just remembered that B&B reached another daytime history milestone. On Monday July 18, B&B moved past Search for Tomorrow (both CBS and NBC runs) to become the 8th longest-running daytime drama on US network television. As of today, the 10 longest-running daytime dramas on US network television are General Hospital, Guiding Light, Days, As the World Turns, Y&R, One Life to Live, All My Children, B&B, Search for Tomorrow, Another World.

Oh I really not what you mean, and I'm sure considering I had hours to think lol, But I think it has more to Do With Bill Jr. Than Brad

I get that one too urgh, was initially excited for both her and the Character finally coming to Canvas after so long, and with a rare deaging but Sarah annoys me, of course not as much as Renée did, Philece must've rolled on the grave, and the hair she sports there almost never makes her any favors

They must've felt they could've work a Bope or Skayla type of pairing Bad Boy falls for good girl and is reformed, but they really couldn't, I prefer Hot Jackass Xander with Wicked Witch Gwen

Krista seems to be a breath of fresh air like KKL, I guess they probably work well, I would love if the writers would try a Frenemie energy for them

Why can't Stuffy be happy her husband, who actually wants her and only her, is alive?  She still is pushing for her criminal, pathetic Mommy to be with Daddy, who is married.  I find it so amazing that the Tridge brats forget when Mommy was off being dead, Brooke loved them and treated them like her own.  Now they hate her and want to destroy her life at any opportunity.

Imagine if the show wrote true and logical angst instead of unbelievable, white-washed crap.

I would've like If they mentioned that once in a while, I remember the kids adored Brooke up to Taylor's Resurrection, I remember watching scenes with them happy that RJ was their brother, Suddenly Taylor's Back and it was like "We don't need you anymore!"

She's Stuffy to me and I don't care what that loon killer mother of hers wants.  Ridge is married even if he is the original waffler.  Thought the high and mightyTaylor WRP, had morals.  Guess they are as flexible as her daughter's.

She's STEFFY, but oh wait you're a SLUT FROM THE VALLEY lover, that explains everything. I'll take Steffy over that Slut anyday. Steffy out ranks her in all ways.

High and mighty Taylor has more morals than your Slut does, I'm sure she'll be climbing Deacon's peen once she finds out about the Tridge kiss

Agreed, those are fighting words.  Leave Sarah alone, one of my DAYS few faves.  And she does NOT comes off smug at all unlike Emily Obrien's Gwen.

WHAT a load of crap.  Gwen has NO rooting value at all.  She's a bitch. Sarah is a frail woman, she was only made that way because of two evil bitches, Kristen and your GWEN.

    • To bring over from the May Sweeps Thread from @Chris B   I know the fashions have gotten mixed reviews but I actually like what the new costume designer is putting the cast in. It feels more modern and the more tacky pieces I feel make sense for rich people. They're buying for the brand and the price and we often see celebs in things like this. Especially for a character like Nikki, I feel the more over the top (and tacky), the more realistic it is.   I agree. While it has been hit and miss no question, I have found it fascinating to watch what the costume designer is attempting to do with the various characters and their clothes. Some have been overdue. Some have been fascinating. But (outside of Billy) not boring to watch. I definitely find it more modern as well.   My growing issue has been it's not good that the best reason to watch Y&R as of late has been to see what people are wearing rather than the writing. It feels like a red flag.
    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
