Still no Will? Are they going for a Sonny and Chad pairing?

Getting the goods on Leo story is so zzzzzzzzzzz.

Why are Chad and Sonny wasting their time on a loser like Leo?

Duh!

I wonder if Victor's offer is Sonny running Titan again? I've always liked the idea of the show exploring Sonny ruthless businessman side, the problem as always been it's execution. Freddie was terrible in the business stories. Hopefully Zach Tinker is better.

Hopefully we get some follow-up to why Sonny is so obsessed with taking down Leo and his reaction to the plan blowing up.  Very strange to have virtually no follow up on that for 2 weeks.

No. Titan! The other stuff Sonny can get from Amazon. Pay attention to Amazon's logo and notice the arrow that goes from A to Z. Meaning, anything you need from from A to Z, Amazon's gotcha covered.

I know it's Titan. I guess they're going to make Sonny forget his mother's foundation he started in Arizona. Will who should be in Salem is the one in Arizona with his daughter. This [!@#$%^&*] soap makes zero sense.

Yeah Chandler said in March SOD interview: "When you just come in every now and then, obviously, for logistical reasons, you can’t really be the center or integral part of a big storyline. I don’t get the meaty stuff that I used to get, but it’s still fun to see everybody and pop in"

Well, I just find the whole thing funny. It's like Victor (even though I know John Aniston's physical mobility is sadly deteriorating) just shoves the responsibility to Maggie who has zilch experience in the corporate world. How many times has Victor given it to Brady and then took Titan back, or given it to Phillip and then take it back? All of a sudden, Sonny's in town and then Victor automatically sees it as a way to throw Titan on him, lol! I truly don't know if I'm making any sense or not, but I swear it's like Victor treats Titan like a blood-sucking leech, lol!

I don't know too much about gender reveal parties and how they're done on soaps, but the ones I've seen (as well as public marriage proposals) on YouTube, it seems to be a societal trend where strangers try to outdo other strangers.

Correct.  And just like everything else in life that's motivated by outdoing others, gender reveal parties IRL tend to end in bloodshed and mayhem.

    • One thing I thought about is if Hayley will have a reaction to Bill threatening to kidnap and sell a baby. That's another level of viciousness and with her just having thought she was pregnant it might make her feel some type of way.
    • You're welcome. Fall 1982-Spring 1985 was the peak of primetime soaps. What a time to have been alive.
    • 1990/91 Cheers, Roseanne, A Different World, The Cosby Show, Empty Nest, The Golden Girls were still Top 10 shows, and Murphy Brown and Designing Women became Top 10 shows. It was the following season that I think was the transition season for sitcoms.
    • @xtr I loved Martin in Thursday's episode, he was almost a different character. I thought he was flirty, funny, carefree, and giggly. Glad I have someone to share my top 2 women(Nicole and Eva) with, I agree Nicole is the heart of the Dupree family, and also the heart of the show IMO. We rode into the show on the passenger side of her car, lol. What I am enjoying the most about the show, is that they did such a great job character building, because all I care about is the CHARACTER journey. Nicole, Eva, Leslie, Dani, Chelsea, etc. very invested in what's coming next. I even feel that way about Mona, Shanice, and Doug.
    • I know we have discussed the fact that Another World seemed to be planning a location shoot in Finland that got cancelled. I came across this item from the syndicated Soapbox column published June 14, 1982. "Soap operas have been experimenting extensively with on-location shooting in recent years to enhance storylines and increase their viewing audience. A major drawback is the added production costs involved. Another World, for example, cancelled a special trip for Victoria Wyndham (Rachel Cory on the show), who was scheduled to shoot scenes in Finland. The producers felt that the high price tag, along with resentment of the cast members who also wanted to travel but were to be left behind. was enough to scrap the whole project."
    • A few more thoughts about these last two episodes. I thought it was interesting how much disdain both Dani/Anita have for Eva. I thought it was amusing how Dani was calling her lying/conniving and how Anita pointed as if to say, "that part". They definitely are not here for her, and I could see them having harsh confrontations with her in addition to Leslie. I'm curious to see Kat's interaction with Eva on Monday's episode. I think it might be interesting if Kat (along with possibly Naomi/Chelsea) come around to Eva before Dani/Anita do. Of course, Kat will be understandably angry at her. But maybe a tiny part of her might feel sorry for her if she really does believe that she's Ted's daughter as well and that Leslie lied to her. I could see Kat confronting Eva again and warning her not to harm her family anymore. But I could also possibly see Kat admitting that what Ted/Leslie did regarding her was messed up as well. And maybe that will pave the way down the line for them to get along better. I also agree with the comments/speculation made in the threat that Nicole will eventually accept/probably love her someday as well. I still wouldn't mind if somehow Nicole ended up being her biological mother. They have both been acting like they care for each other in this storyline. Nicole somehow ending up being her mother would be soapy and provide some more interesting layers in this story. And regarding Andre/Dani's romance it seems like they are genuinely developing feelings for each other. I have missed episodes, so maybe more of this has been elaborated on. But it seemed like there was genuine affection between both of them when they snuck a kiss publicly in the hotel. And also, them both talking about going publicly with their relationship. I wonder what everyone's reactions will be should they be caught by someone together. Of if they flat out tell everyone about their relationship.
    • I was wondering what week it was, and it explains the low rating for Knots Landing. I was also wondering what preempted Dallas and Falcon Crest.
    • Interesting take on Dallas. Frankly I think the plot of JR Returns should have been the way Dallas ended but for whatever reason they thought they had the chance to get renewed for another season lol. A week later Knots’ 2 hour season finale ranked at #10 against Cheers #3 and LA Law at #5. There’s only a handful of other shows running that long and still doing well enough the ratings/rankings i.e. Gunsmoke, Law & Order, NCIS, Grey’s Anatomy and more recently Blue Bloods.    Another point of interest is the unraveling of the 80’s sitcoms had already begun in the spring of ‘91. The first part of a Who’s The Boss? two part season finale we see here ranked at  #40 and second part ranked at #43 the following week. Growing Pains finale the previous week barely made it into the Top 30. The Wonder Years fared no better. Cosby losing ground, Night Court and Dear John just being there etc.
