Khalil and Heinle go toe to toe because it’ll be so fierce!

I actually like them as adversaries but not over Billy. Ugh.

Chances are, if Ron Carlivati were writing Diane's return, her first words back would be complaining of a splitting headache.

LOL. If Ron was writing we would have Nate working on a secret medical project for Ashland, next thing you know Nate becomes Genoa City’s answer to Dr. Rolf as Diane, Brad, Colleen, and Jessica Blair all get revived 😉

There is a cattiness I do enjoy between the two but it’s definitely been wasted on Cane and Billy over the years, neither which brought out the best in the them.

Do not give Josh Griffith ideas.

Haha! Unlike some people who post all day on Twitter trying to get clout, I'm a professional journalist. Besides, to spoil something like this just because one can is tacky and pathetic.

I agree. It's weird the things some people want to be first at doing.

Spoiling it was never going to bring a torrent of lapsed viewers back to watch, so why spoil what modicum of old school soap opera storytelling remains?

I'd do that tbh. Sue me.

I suspected Dylan’s post in the spolier forum was about Jack’s mystery texter, so on didn’t read that thread.  Luckily, nobody talked about it in this thread, except for that one post that at least used a spoiler tag, and nobody replied to it so that was nice to see.  And good thing @Erroldidn’t write a news article about her return. 😉 LOL

DEAD at Errol not writing an article.

But...cool all the same.

And people really think the 'non spoiler' person is a myth. :)

I forgot Murphy found Diane's extremely dead body and it washed up on the bank! LOL.

Could Diane have mocked up a corpse and paid off the coroner, etc? I know she was autopsied, but so were so many people on soaps. (The Jack Deveraux organ donation on DAYS is still the apex for me)

I should add the big reveal that Nikki did it - on a Super 8 film reel - is straight out of stuff like Brian De Palma and "Blow Out" IMO, and while very stylish is another great example of MAB lifting film stuff while telling bad stories. If you're gonna lift from the best, which soaps do all the time, do good work!

If they pretended that this never happened. And I mean fully ignored it. As in Diane has been living in Madgascar all this time. She and Kyle have a mother/son trip every 6 months. She thinks Summer is a turd. I don't think anyone (anyone) would care.

You're probably right.

The Diane plot is definitely the first time in a while Y&R feels like a soap. There’s no excuse for a boring show, but I wonder if at least *some* of the most recent listless wheel-spinning of the show was them biding their time to put this story in motion (actor availability, etc.).

Whoever wrote today's episode Googled "things a business owns" with that convo between Lily, Billy, Nate and Devon. I can't.

It seems like every day someone is asking someone else to join their company. How many jobs has Nate had? It’s not like he’ll actually be shown working, so I don’t know what the point is.

Seeing as he's a doctor, I'd at least expect him to investigate how a dead corpse is suddenly alive. If THAT's not job worthy I don't know what is. Besides, other than operating skills, what business skills does he have?

Ashland finessing Nate with his fake cancer is not exactly a ringing endorsement for his skills.
