I saw some fans on Twitter who were upset Newman isn't playing Sharon's father. I could see someone like him being married once to Karen Hensel's Doris. Maybe I'm nuts -- okay, I'm nuts -- but I think William R. It would make more sense to pair him with Eileen Davidson or even Melody Thomas Scott than it would to pair him with AH. Sigh. I am so, so tired of Y&R going back to the Billy/Victoria well. I miss Robert Newman and always said he's one of the best looking men on Daytime. Back when my sisters and friends were losing their shite over how hot Tony Geary and the men on GH were....and then Todd/Roger Howarth on OLTL....(both YUCK to me but) I couldn't believe people did NOT notice Robert Newman or he never came up as one of the nicest/hottest looking men in Daytime.
