They could kill off the crumb-snatcher and I really wouldn't give a damn.

Another dead kid for Devon. It could all have been avoided. No reason to have dragged him into this.

They really need to do a better job at demonstrating Chance’s trauma. It’s been a characterization/story/acting fail.

If this were old Y&R (not even mentioning Carlivati), nuNoah would be nekkid pretty much every day. Now we just get this mopey wet blanket. Why do these writers hate pleasure?

Me, watching them.

They need to move Noah out of the vortex of Cait Fairbanks and have him verbally sparring with Sally or a dude. The pining for Messa is just sooooooooo boring.   Have him hook up with someone (male or female and start snorting coke/ binge drinking/doing ecstasy to "self-medicate" his feelings. Or just like getting high in one of the "New Hope" buildings. Anything is better than sad eyes Noah.     Give him something to do--he's adorable. Get him out of the coffeehouse and start  getting some ass.

As for Chance... yawn

The whole baby saga and everyone involved is terrible.

Does this Chance present in any way as some kind of government agent that would be involved in high stakes missions ?

That kid is a few months old and Devon is talking about his welfare as though he's been left in a trailer park toilet.

He is well loved and cared for and Devon has had access to him over and beyond his entitlement.

Amanda is living with Devon and so therefore would be around that child. Does she have any attachment to him?

Following Devon's twisted logic, couldn't Amanda's presence be upsetting?

What do Nina and Ashley think about this? Jill? Victor?

Devon is an idiot.

I still say they're intentionally making Devon look bad in this story so it'll be easier to write him out.

Noah’s story is terrible. Pining away for Tessa is ridiculous so much for the supposed heartbreak he had in Europe.

Then again, everything about Y&R is terrible right now.

At this point, I only have Y&R on in the background while I eat lunch sometimes. It's been so dreadly boring for so long now. It just feels like nothing really ever happens.

Curious to hear what other's think...does anyone find all these corporate stories interesting? I'm not sure why the writers think viewers are excited about who's going to run ChanceComm or whatever. I couldn't care less about these boardroom stories. Do people really watch soaps to hear about these people fight over control over these mystery companies...companies we don't even know what they really do!

    • GET THAT HEFFA, NOSY NURSE!!!   I'm sorry to see Smitty and June coming to a middle ground. It seem like that tension would be between them for at least one more story arc. A writing change?   I'm sorry but I love the teen unit of Ty, Samantha, and Jessica (and Rocco, Danny, Charlotte over on GH which is what today is reminding me of). I'm a sucker for soap teens. lol.
    • I really hope Laura doesn’t get reelected. She doesn’t deserve it. Imagine her campaign staff, freaking out at the Metro Court as election results come in while she’s hanging out with Sonny.
    • Thanks for that. It was great to see her in an interview. She's very likable. Although it was somewhat confusing. What new soap is she talking about going on audition for in 1973. Was it The Young and the Restless? Is it just me or did they never even say the name of this soap opera? Days wasn't new in 1973 and there was no "Jack" with three daughters on The Young and the Restless. What soap are they talking about? The editing around that part was weird and choppy. I felt like there was a chunk missing or something. And I'm not sure why she was saying she got colorectal cancer from HPV and said it's because she never got the HPV vaccine but then said she's never had anal sex. I'm not a doctor but that didn't seem to make any medical sense. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired. It just seemed like some of this interview didn't make sense.
    • If it helps any, the last script cover from the Elman papers that I have is from episode #3,736 airdate November 15, 1977. Writers are the Hollands with Frank Salisbury.
    • B&B really does look incredible. The lighting and the polished sets have made a significant difference how visually appealing the show is now.
    • I found the problem with the Labine era was that the show lost some humour when the Labines came on and it could be dull. They also didn't seem to understand some of the characters. As others have said, it looks fantastic in comparison to the next regime but I just remember boredom being the primary response.
    • Something I didn't realize: Frank Ashmore, who played Monica's investigator Corrigan in 1981, was also Victor, the third guy in the cockpit, in Airplane!
    • Thanks, maybe I will skim through those episodes.  I have previously binged late 1985 through early 1987; April-June, August 1992 (I skipped Carlo Hesser murder trial), Jan-March 1995 and I began watching in 2006. I just struggle to stay consistent with routines especially binging routines haha
    • I could've sworn we went over the Bobbie thing a while ago, and saw her introduced to Rick and Lesley as "Nurse Barbara" in very late '77? Or was that early '78? I know the clip is online. Jackie always credited Marland with creating her IIRC.
    • Thanks.  Loon Lake - very on the nose. With that "dad" outfit Bo looks even more like Cassie's father...
