Does this mean Trask is put on contract? I like her and the show needs non-Horton/Brady/Dimeras on the canvas so I'm happy.

I was assuming they listed them by seniority, thus if both were on recurring, Chandler would be ahead of Zach, but it looks like Eric M is in row 1 ahead of Diedre and Drake, so maybe that's not how they are listed. Regardless, judging from the one Michael Fairman interview where he asked them if they wanted to come back full time. Zach gave a strong yes, he would and Chandler said he's only interested in doing shorter stints. Now that they have a great actor in the role of Sonny and people like, they'd be stupid to not lock down at least one half of WilSon.

Yes Chandler, Zach and Greg are back on the main show

Days works their recurring actors well. Im not concerned if Will & Sonny are recurring or Contract. I think Days knows fans wanna see Wilson in Salem

No, most of the bottom two rows are recurring.

There's always been a split with all the contract cast first (usually in contract signing order, or close enough), followed by the recurring actors in any random order, not signifying seniority, so that's why we never know where the contract cast ends. They usually average 30-34ish on contract, so most likely the top 3 rows (33...30 we can see, 3 we can't) are contract and a majority of rows 4 & 5 are recurring.

This seems to be the actors, as far as I can tell:

1st Row: Suzanne Rogers (Maggie), Lauren Koslow (Kate), Josh Taylor (Roman), Jim Reynolds (Abe), Eric Martsolf (Brady), Deidre Hall (Marlena), Drake Hogestyn (John), Mary Beth Evans (Kayla), Rob Wilson (Ben), Ari Zucker (Nicole), Paul Telfer (Xander, not pictured); 2nd Row: Stephen Nichols (Steve), Lindsay Arnold (Allie), Emily O'Brien (Gwen), Lucas Adams (Tripp), Billy Flynn (Chad), Brandon Barash (Jake), Tamara Braun (Ava), Galen Gering (Rafe), Camila Banus (Gabi), Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe), Brandon Beemer (Shawn; not pictured); 3rd Row: Martha Madison (Belle), Jackee Harry (Paulina), Raven Bowens (Chanel), Dan Feuerriegel (EJ), Carson Boatman (Johnny), Matt Ashford (Jack), Marci Miller (Abigail), Linsey Godfrey (Sarah), new contract actor (TBA), Sal Stowers (Lani), 11th photo not pictured (possibly contract or recurring); 4th Row (either some contract or all recurring actors): Zach Tinker (Sonny), Greg Rikaart (Leo), Victoria Konefal (Ciara), Stacy Haiduk (Kristen/Susan), Susan Hayes (Julie), Bill Hayes (Doug), Judi Evans (Bonnie), Wally Kurth (Justin), John Aniston (Victor), Patrika Darbo (Nancy), 11th photo not pictured; 5th Row: Heather Lindell (Jan), Thaao Penghlis (Tony), Leaan Hunley (Anna), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer), Tina Huang (Trask), Greg Vaughan (Eric), Chandler Massey (Will), Lamon Archey (Eli), Bryan Dattilo (Lucas) and ??.

I really believe he would do long term if Days was really invested in Will and Sonny. He has moved back to Atlanta and has a business job which Chandler said he could do remotely.

I'm excited to see Sonny back on the main show now that Zack is in the role.

Look at Victoria Konefal... She is recurring and appears on almost every episode. Let's hope Chandler and Zach get the same air time.

This thread had spoiled it already but it is confirmed Sarah is coming back. I am ambivalent about the character but I love LG and I am glad she is well again enough to go back to work.

    • Thanks for that. It was great to see her in an interview. She's very likable. Although it was somewhat confusing. What new soap is she talking about going on audition for in 1973. Was it The Young and the Restless? The editing around that part was weird and choppy. I felt like there was a chunk missing or something. And I'm not sure why she was saying she got colorectal cancer from HPV and said it's because she never got the HPV vaccine but then said she's never had anal sex. I'm not a doctor but that didn't seem to make any medical sense. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired. It just seemed like some of this interview didn't make sense.
    • If it helps any, the last script cover from the Elman papers that I have is from episode #3,736 airdate November 15, 1977. Writers are the Hollands with Frank Salisbury.
    • B&B really does look incredible. The lighting and the polished sets have made a significant difference how visually appealing the show is now.
    • I found the problem with the Labine era was that the show lost some humour when the Labines came on and it could be dull. They also didn't seem to understand some of the characters. As others have said, it looks fantastic in comparison to the next regime but I just remember boredom being the primary response.
    • Something I didn't realize: Frank Ashmore, who played Monica's investigator Corrigan in 1981, was also Victor, the third guy in the cockpit, in Airplane!
    • Thanks, maybe I will skim through those episodes.  I have previously binged late 1985 through early 1987; April-June, August 1992 (I skipped Carlo Hesser murder trial), Jan-March 1995 and I began watching in 2006. I just struggle to stay consistent with routines especially binging routines haha
    • I could've sworn we went over the Bobbie thing a while ago, and saw her introduced to Rick and Lesley as "Nurse Barbara" in very late '77? Or was that early '78? I know the clip is online. Jackie always credited Marland with creating her IIRC.
    • Thanks.  Loon Lake - very on the nose. With that "dad" outfit Bo looks even more like Cassie's father...
    • Luna parachutes herself into Llanview at the end of September 15th 1991.
    • That lengthy flashback does make me wonder if she threw out a lot, but I agree it may have been too easy an urban legend. Would these have been her very first episodes? I imagine you could feel the big difference when Bobbie arrived, alongside the Quartermaines filing in, the return of Heather, and Lesley/Rick/Monica/Alan heating up. It does remind me that there must have been some dud moments in the 60-minute format we just don't see because little of the period is available in full.  I wonder how much longer the Dantes lasted under Marland.  David Hamilton is so disgusting. I appreciate the show making him disgust as some shows when they have stories about older men or women manipulating teens aren't as honest.  I can't see this Rick being friends with him. Chris Robinson's Rick, on the other hand, I could believe.
