Good god Frank. This man. Do we really need ANOTHER person on contract? I love Charles Shaughnessy but I can't ever even feel excited for a GH casting announcement because the cast is damn bloated and poorly used as it is.

 

I'm hoping they remembered he already played someone and it's tied to Holly. But everything ends up being about Roger Howarth's character, no matter who he's playing, so ...

Thank you. Precisely (one of) my frustration. Frank is deliberately tone deaf. GH social media is pretty united on his ass (except for his stans who swear up and down he's a soap savior) and sees what he does. He knows how folks feel. He doesn't care.

 

He's desperately trying to make GH "his own" and failing absolutely miserably.

I've been seeing speculation that he's playing Victor Cassadine. Thoughts? His name has been brought up recently and word has it that Obrecht (and Scotty?) gets kidnapped by him soon. 

Only Frank would be ridiculous enough to hire Mr. Sheffield to play Victor Cassadine (who died, IIRC).

Yep. Those scenes randomly came up for me on YouTube and I watched. He died. But I guess it wouldn't matter.

Possible but that would infuriate me knowing he originally played her cousin lol. GH overdoes it with having the same actor play so many characters.
