In Toronto, they do! We call them "Rage Rooms" or "Smash Rooms".

Rage rooms definitely exist; I'm surprised how modern and with the times GH is with little mentions such as this and drag queen bingo(lol), etc. 

The one disappointment about the rage room: neither of them smashed the TV that was on the table by the door. I wanted that to be smashed with a sledgehammer so bad.
