I like Matt Ashford. But I did like Mark Valley’s a lot too, so I don’t think he’s unrecastable. But if MA’s around, I’d always prefer him. I don’t feel the same way about Missy, who used to be luminous and just... isn’t anymore, which isn’t a knock on her looks but more on her energy and vibe.

I do have to say  I really like Jennifer with Daniel.

In my opinion they didn't need to bring back Jack, but now it's time for Peter Dimera to come back. It will give lots of storyline for Jack & Jennifer and maybe even give Peter & Abby a romantic storyline. Or Abby falls in love with Peter's son.

With Chabby, Peter's return writes itself.  That should have been a main source of conflict for them--J&J were as terrorized by the DiMeras as B&H and J&M during the 90s.  Instead, it's NEVER been mentioned.  Oiy lol.

Could that have been part of the settlement that Missy reached with the show when she quit back in the 90s? No storylines that included the character of Peter, regardless of who plays him? Because honestly, that crazy Liam guy that was obsessed with Jen a few years back should have turned out to be Peter.
