Tony Geary did NOT have it in his contract that he could change his lines however he had carte blance from Gloria Monty and the flexibility as Luke Spencer™ to do so. Also he's the reason Luke wasn't a particularly good father or husband, he fought to not be a good father. Nancy's talking a lot to protect her job. You would think that TG would have believed that it would have been more in character for Luke to try to be a good father due to the fact that Luke had a lousy father. But whatevs. And now sadly, due to Frank’s obsession with Howarth, they have Lucky making the same mistakes now.
