B&B to air classic episodes

Now that CBS is going to air actual classic episodes it's time for a thread.

I guess May 4 is not a Stephanie Forrester week, but a best weddings week:

Then, as THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL comes down the aisle, storylines will include:

On Monday, May 4, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) desperately attempts to escape from Prince Omar (Kabir Bedi) to let Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) know that she’s alive, while Ridge and Brooke (Lang) have their epic first wedding in front of friends… and foes on the beautiful beach in Point Dume, Calif. The episode originally aired Sept. 30, 1994.

On Tuesday, May 5, Steffy (Wood) and Liam (Clifton) are wed in front of the iconic Opera House on the glorious Sydney, Australia harbor. While the ceremony progresses in front of family and friends, Wyatt (Darin Brooks) eases his sorrows over his brother’s marriage to his ex-wife with several drinks. The episode originally aired March 22, 2017.

On Wednesday, May 6, Katie (Tom), the only woman to have ever stolen Dollar Bill's (Diamont) heart, walks down the aisle to become Mrs. William Spencer, Jr., with her sisters at her side, at the San Fernando Valley home where she was raised. Legendary CBS star Patrick Duffy (“Dallas”) guest stars as Katie’s father, Stephen Logan. The episode originally aired Nov. 13, 2009.

On Thursday, May 7, Eric Forrester (McCook) and Brooke Logan (Lang) say “I Do” as Eric’s ex-wife, Stephanie (Susan Flannery), and Brooke’s true love, Ridge (Kaye), watch without objection. Eric then takes Brooke on a romantic and surprise honeymoon in a magnificent hot-air balloon in Palm Springs, Calif. The episode originally aired Jan. 8, 1991.

Wrapping up on Friday, May 8: Having overcome astounding obstacles, Hope (Kim Matula, in a role currently played by Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) joyously say “I Do” in front of family, friends, and the many residents of the beautiful city of Puglia, Italy. Frustrated and brokenhearted, Steffy (Wood) updates Eric (McCook) and Stephanie (Flannery) on the dramatic events transpiring in Puglia. The episode originally aired June 26, 2012.

Taylor should have stuck with Pierce.

It is bizarre how the show constantly teased her with other peoplebut never gave her a love interest outside of Ridge. From 1992 - 2002 the only person that Taylor had sex with besides Ridge was James (once).

Did Taylor ever sleep with Thorne there in 1997?

Nope. They kissed but never had sex. She never slept with Thorne, Grant, nobody but James that one time.

For a while I thought it was actually something Tylo requested but then she returned and allnof a sudden Taylor was sleeping with Thorne, Nick, Rick etc

Thanks I couldn’t remember for sure or if or not. I suppose that was the show’s way of keeping Taylor the show heroine while Brooke whored herself out and on the villainess side too...possibly faking/lying about a pregnancy & miscarriage. Lauren and Macy were vixens too.  Even though I enjoyed that story the sad thing is for Taylor being a psychiatrist she was really dumbed to be that manipulated and victimized by Brooke & Thorne’s schemes.

too many modern episodes this week🤮...looking forward to 2002. Today's 2010 episode with Bill vs Liam and (Stephanie still alive 🔥💪) was surprisingly far more interesting anything I've seen them give in years.

I like Scott Clifton a lot as a human being, but an Emmy for THAT???

Sorry, there was nothing there that merited an award.

Based off interviews he seems nice, but I have not enjoyed him much as an actor much at least not as a leading man who has these two women acting like idiots for him. He made me uncomfortable on GH and he's gotten better on BB and I think he would be ok, I just don't believe him in his role.

I follow Clifton on Twitter, and he’s socially very liberal and really cares about people. I root for people like that. The same is true of Billy Flynn of DAYS. Good people.

Of course, that's why I don't like speaking too harshly about actors because I'm sure he's a great guy, he seems like it, and he has a fanbase and my opinion is just that an opinion from my perspective and it's not that I think he's a bad actor. It's just his character on BB and his acting/style just never clicked for me. I feel the role doesn't fit. He's grown on me however.

Oof. Reign Edwards and those Witness Protection Program wigs. Feel so bad for her.

And another show where I don’t see an Emmy winning performance. I like Rome Flynn — as I said about Clifton — but I don’t see the Emmy.

Yeah these have been super underwhelming (and this is my first time seeing these). To be fair so was the Y&R episode  - have no clue with EB won an Emmy for that.

The emmys are funny to me. Susan Lucci got passed over for almost 30 hears, but Sarah Joy Brown ( deservingly) won 2 emmys in like 2 years. Moreover it took Jeanne Cooper till about 2008 to win an Emmy after years of great storylines as Kay.

Loved today, from the time I saw May 2002 I already knew it was about  Brooke & Deacon. That storyline was so scandalously shocking, one of the last great on the show. It would be great to see the episode where Brooke is confronted by Bridget as well.

Katherine Kelly Lang is still beautiful but it was so nice being able to look back and see her before she cried millions of tears due to the horrid Deacon storyline.

Loved todays classic episode with Stephanie confronting Brooke about being pregnant with Deacon's baby. It was the trashy, soapy goodness B&B used to excel at back in the day. KKL and SF had such great chemistry. I loved their fights! I never bought them as friends at the end.

Was surprised to see Kristen, Antonio, Zende. Antonio was soooo handsome. I feel like they ended up just wasting the character after having a big intro for him. The HIV story was timely, but it also virtually wrote him in a corner.
