I agree. Not much new information for any of us, and any chance at seeing any new clips is dead bc I’m pretty sure they honestly did just pull stuff from YouTube. I’d be OK with this being a non-fan’s introduction to the genre.

I’m just so bugged at how they’re ruining nearly every clip. They’re cutting the top and bottom off of the old non-widescreen clips and it looks terrible.

It’s a lot more restrained than I expected. I thought they’d go over the top with the catfights and bedroom scenes, but it’s very in the vein of the Tom Hanks CNN documentaries about pop culture through the decades.
 

And they aren’t shying away from the vile nature of the Luke/Laura rape.

I’m actually not too crazy about how they are not distinguishing between daytime and the old primetime soaps.

Super super glad they’re exposing L&L for the vile grossness that it was.
