And I'm afraid developments such as this will only convince her she's right. My fear: just as it took a celebrity (namely, Tom Hanks) coming down with the virus for people to realize the coronavirus was not a hoax, it'll likely take another celebrity or public figure actually DYING from the virus for them to realize the precautions indeed are necessary. They should have locked down 2 weeks ago. California was the first to lock down, and they have 1,500 cases, while New York has 12,000.
