I didn't know where to place this little nugget, so I guess I'll drop it here.  This is what Marci Miller chose dress herself in at the creative arts awards ceremony.  It looks like she raided a dumpster behind a costume store.

Not a stupid question, NATAS has done a poor job of promoting it:

Online: emmyonline.tv
Facebook: facebook.com/TheEmmys and facebook.com/DaytimeEmmyAwards
Twitter: @TheEmmys and @DaytimeEmmys
YouTube: youtube.com/TheEmmys

And I'll be watching the hot mess of a show and live commenting. It's practically tradition.

Also, I'm not sure if this is a recent development but you should be able to watch through your streaming devices like Apple TV, Fire and Roku.

I just discovered that Roku has 3 Knekt Channels and two are Daytime Emmy awards related-- A Red Carpet Channel and the actual Awards Show Channel.

You're welcome @dragonflies. I also discovered that you can watch the Roku Channel online from your Roku account, which I'm pretty sure is a recent development. I only discovered this when I was adding the Knekt channels to my mother's Roku box from my laptop, lol.  I helped her find it on YouTube last year and it's much easier to just add the Channels instead of hunting around YouTube.  The irony is, my mother seems pretty indifferent to the Daytime Emmys this year, so I doubt she'll be watching, lol.

KNEKT should really post a tutorial step-by-step on how to stream their awards show/red carpet on various devices/platforms because there are still some fans who don't know how to stream programs and I actually feel sorry for them.  I have to keep in mind that just because people are tweeting and on Facebook doesn't mean that they are knowledgeable about tech.

I used to lose patience with people who would complain about the awards shows no longer being on TV but I now realize that many are nervous about tech and still feel a level of discomfort with anything beyond basic social media.

As a public service to older fans, in particular, Knekt could have posted a video tutorial on how to stream the Daytime Emmys Red Carpet & Awards show on various devices/platforms.  It sounds simple to many of us but some people get flummoxed by buttons and links.  Some people are visual learners and might pick it up quickly by watching someone demonstrate how to do it.
