They’ve shown clips of Dru since VR left so I’m sure they could again. 

 

 

It breaks my heart seeing what’s been done to Victoria Rowell. She mentioned speaking to Shemar and Tonya, but if you look on her page none of the cast (beyond Loren Lott) like or comment offering her any kind of sympathy. Then to be largely left out of a tribute to someone she worked closely with until his death. I truly believe had Victoria not taken one for the team Kristoff and Bryton would’ve been fired years ago. Not to mention I credit her with Susan Dansby being hired and many others like Mischael Morgan. 

Redaric & Lamon were hired because of her too.

We were robbed of never getting a chance to see Dru and Hillary square off and now that will never happen.  

We also never got to see Devon introduce Hilary to Lillie Belle.

Remembering that VR had been working on a project that deals with mental illness makes it all the more painfully ironic.

What a beautiful bride and groom Dru and Neil made.

He has no relationship with Dru's mother.

Did Dru and Lillie Belle ever mend fences in the end? I can't seem to remember Lillie Belle ever quite getting past her disdain for conceiving Dru.

Over the last decade+, I'm shocked at how poorly lit the show has been and actors with darker skin have often fared the worst. 

If anyone is confused about why I'm singling out darker skin and lighting standards, there are some great podcasts out there from cinematographers who have done shows like Insecure, Atlanta and Black Panther.

They talk about the techniques of lighting darker skin tones for television, where many get it wrong.

 

Loren Lott that plays Ana suffers from this right now. 

Not that they’d need to have the same actress if they brought Lillie Belle back (which won’t happen), but is Robin Braxton (who took over for the late Norma Donaldson) still living?

 

Not that she has to make a public statement, but I’d love to hear from Debbi Morgan. She’s known and worked with KSJ for many years.

They did. Lillie Belle & Dru managed to mend their relationship before her parents returned to NY. It wasn't perfect but it was definitely progress.

I thought I heard that Lillie Belle barely acknowledge that Dru had given birth to Lily? And that’s her namesake.

They Fired her. JG had come in to read for Victoria when HT left in 1997 and they made JG Grace instead

What I loved about the Lillie Belle and Dru relationship was that it touched upon that some people just weren't meant to be parents or good parents (she was to Liv, but there was no excuse for why she treated Dru as she did), as well as the blatant favoritism some parents give to one child over another. This is rarely touch upon in a non-comedic way, but it's a very real thing that happens in families.
