Members Eboneece
I loved how they introduced mts with several of her opening theme shots (though they missed the iconic head turns from the early 90s openings). I hope they use this in her anniversary episode. They did something similar in Jeanne Cooper’s tribute episode.
Members Fevuh
So Mia is the one who shoved Lola, because she thought it was Abby? Abby had given Lola her coat...?
Members Planet Soap
Just noticed this, hopefully the show continues to bring back more of them. All we need now is better writing!

Members BoldRestless
There's a low quality version on youtube already but I'd rather wait to watch tomorrow on TV. Trying to catch up to today's Y&R but God, it's just so tedious.
Members Paul Raven
I'm sure everybody will have their opinion of what should have been included. I wonder if they talked to Melody as to what scenes she recalled or wanted to be used. Is anybody from the early 80's still associated with the show? Members durk
Apparently it goes back to her very first apprences and she stated on the talk that there are some clips that haven’t been shown since they aired, also heard there are some with JC AND KSJ. Members BoldRestless
I don't think so. She said on the Talk that when she was shown the clips before taping the episode, they made her cry.
Members Paul Raven
Her first scene with Roberta and Jeanne are included.
Members amybrickwallace
She seemed very pleased when she talked about those clips, so it sounds like it will be a treat.
Members Khan
This is one time when I wish Ron Carlivati were writing Y&R. They could have included clips of MST's predecessor (Erica Hope?), and Ron could've covered it with Nikki saying how very different she looked when she first came to GC. Members LondonScribe
Just watched the episode. 40 years in one role is a great deal of dedication. (William Roache’s 58 years- and counting- as Ken Barlow in Coronation Street is astounding but that’s for another time). Production-wise, it was a very Mal Young/British choice to do a stand-alone/single handed episode. One very good thing to come from it was the almost wall-to-wall classical scores used that I felt added to the clips and overall episode.
