That Chad didn't care either like Will...doesn't bother me that Will didn't react to her falling down the stairs....he was drunk too....his main concern was pathetic Sonny....

Will is closer to Marlena and Kate...if he didn't worry about them then I would be upset...dont care if didnt react to Julie...lets move on...I made my point and so did you...

And it wasn't written in the script for him to overreact about Julie falling anyways...was he suppose to ad lib a la Liz Hubbard?

The writing for Will has been horrible thus the no reaction to Julie....even today when Sonny thought he was there to see his daughter he didn't seem to care either....blame the writers....the writing for Will has been horrendous.

Chandler was AWFUL in those scenes. Low energy, with the smirk ready to come through. We also got the kiss that people I love NEVER give each other.

It’s the kiss you’d give your 2nd grade teacher after not seeing her for 30 years.

A decent actor could show concern without words on a page. You’d show more concern if a stranger fell down stairs than he did. He was LOUSY. CM shouldn’t need to see “show concern for an elderly woman who might die” in the script.

I enjoyed today's episode. I liked seeing Claire/Ciara show concern for Julie's well-being. Claire has done things I don't like but she does seem to genuinely care about her older relatives. I bought her being scared for Julie. And I really liked seeing Sonny and Gabi spend time together with Ari. (Will should have been there too.)  I like him and Gabi's friendship and how he's supportive of her as Ari's mother. I do wonder how he will react when Gabi is exposed for the things she's done to Abigail and Chad.

Also, Leo continues to be an entertaining mess. The more he talks about Sonny falling for him for real, the more I wonder if that will happen Sonny isn't exactly trying to get away from him and doesn't really shoot him down, when he says that Sonny will fall for him. I think there are feelings and attraction on both of their ends. He was entertaining pushing Will's buttons at the square causing Will to punch him.

Also, I thought that Sarah came across as nasty with Chloe today. She was really out of bounds with the way she bought up Chloe's past to bash her for wanting to raise Holly. I thought that Sarah came a bit undone in those scenes. And she really ticked off Chloe who ended up referring to her as a "dog" and kicking her out the club. Sarah seems really invested in Eric raising Holly and overstepping. It would make more sense if she would plead her case largely as Holly's aunt and wanting the best for her,  instead of just  being an overbearing cheerleader for Eric.

Sarah’s obsession with Eric raising Holly is really annoying and off putting. Like bitch calm down.

I did laugh at Claire telling Ciara to go buy her boyfriend a neck tie. I continue to be dumbfounded by the choice to put Ciara with a serial killer.

Good lord did Chandler even have a pulse when he punched Leo? Why are they letting him do nothing?!? I would back  burner the hell out of him or recast. This is like embarrassing.

I wouldn't mind her obsession so much if I understood where it was coming from. I just don't understand why she is so invested in Eric raising Holly. Literally all this character does is goes around telling people that Eric needs to raise Holly. She's so damn pushy and out of line. Loved Chloe asking how it's any of her business.

Greg Rikaart is giving these scenes his all while Chandler just stands there bored.

I wonder if one of the main reasons Sarah is so involved in helping Eric is because she is using that as a distraction to get over being hurt by Rex. I think she's very hurt over what he did , and is trying to get her mind off it any way she can. She isn't currently working right now (though she will be shortly) and can't use that as a distraction. So maybe she's getting overly involved with Eric/Chloe/Holly to help take her mind off Rex.

Though, I think that whatever her reasons are, she really has been overbearing and came across a bit undone when she was going off on Chloe.

    • I'm anticipating most of the cast at the Nice location for a few weeks a la the Tuscan villa for Victoria and Ashland's wedding. I don't know why they bother. I'd rather see the money going into more regular home/office sets. This party has been a bust. No secrets revealed, break ups  etc. Ugly decorations and I'm going to slam the costuming again. Just the guests heaping praise on  Nikki  like she's achieved some magnificent milestone rather than just getting a year older.

In the loving arms of his wife, Dr. Marlena Evans, John took his last breath at the end of the June 2 episode, after suffering devastating internal injuries during a lab explosion. The iconic character went out as he lived — a hero. Sensing the fans’ devastation on Monday, Marlena’s portrayer Deidre Hall posted this simple-but-powerful message to fans on Instagram: “I know. I know. Hardest day ever.”

    • Now coming into June...well...   I knew it was coming but I didn't like the start to the next round of Dani/Bill/Hayley. As the 3 A plots from the start of the show (The SilkPress storyline and Martin's Secret being the other two), it needed to be benched for a while to develop those characters and allow other characters and storylines to grow. 3 months in, Hayley is the weak link, Dani is still divisive, but not boring, and Bill has been making his mark with some plots faster than others. So last week seeing the story starting to loop back around to them with Hayley's potential pregnancy, I honestly had mixed feelings.   I get it. The SilkPress storyline is currently in aftermath/next turn mode, so it has to be moved into a C plot position. Moreso if we want to keep the very talented Miss Trish around. And I love how clever the writers are being with the storyline. They give us enough in the episodes and are still playing out beats to keep the appetite fed. I don't feel like anyone is being dumbed down to keep her around. And Trish is giving nuances in her alone scenes with NuTed. I shouldn't care for a clear psycho, but she be selling it. That said...I wish they had given us a little more of the Martin's Secret storyline in the last week of the month though I loved the game of cat and mouse Bill did on Martin and Smitty to keep the storyline alive and active after it had a nice build beginning of May and vanished for a week mid-May. And it appears like it's about to go back to the backburner as an A plot which of course leaves the A plot of Dani/Bill/Hayley.   I am probably in the minority as someone who is not anti-Dani here and even she annoyed the heck out of me last week. In character true, but I just felt like there was a way to get all of that across without it feeling like...as I've said before...one step forward, two steps back...and have it feel organic. I liked Hayley got a little bit of edge with her, but she still ain't no match for Dani. And it reminds to be seen if we should be going back to that well of a story yet.   Now about today's show...   And I thought Tracy was bad! lol. But YES. Sharon has been worth the wait. And so has Anita's story! Finally having TT in the limelight. This has been a nice slow burn for me and a nice B plot. And the actress is good. The wig is giving. And her holding what Anita's secret is over her head and threatening to tell Vernon....Ooooo...that is what I was waiting for.    And speaking of bad...I thought Eva vs Kat was a great rivalry. But I am loving the rivalry that is growing with 'Nancy Drew' and Silk Press Sheila! They both get good licks in and are so cunning with each other. And I definitely have liked that since the anniversary party, that it has been growing. Now that Kat has been proven right, she has not backed down. And neither has SilkPress. And we got a 'Ms. B@tch' moment, too? LOVE. Eva coming up with a trump card was delicious and so 90s Sami Brady. GOOD. And the coda with Jacob and the expert...YES. The Silk Press storyline has been the best paced on the show so I love that the aftermath of the anniversary party continues to be so...barring one flaw...well for me. Not enough Nicole's POV.   And I like the C plots on display. And by that, I mean Chelsea with Vernon. And it made me wonder what the writers have plan for her love life now that the throuple is over with. I was watching her and going awww.   And of course the mystery man around Martin. I am starting to wonder if he really even works at the country club given how he made a run for it. That would be a twist.    Speaking of Martin...good to see him in scenes with his father and mother.    I'm getting used to NuTed.    I felt the last episode of May was a bit of a letdown, but this was a very nice recovery.
    • Unless they cut him, I'd think he would stay. Surely, he didn't choose to return because he expected high quality. I figure he gets to work when he wants and spend a lot of time doing his own thing and being with his family.
    • The writing for Liz and Lucky is indeed terrible, but if JJ signed a one-year contract he may be gone in a couple of months anyway. Perhaps they’re just cutting their losses.
    • That would be his older sister Stacey. She was the center of a big story back in the day. Nola was out to snag medical student Kelly Nelson, who she thought would provide her with the life she craved. He was in love with a girl named Morgan. Nola plotted to get pregnant by him, but couldn't manage to get him in bed. So she seduced Floyd, who thought she was in love with him. When she knew she was pregnant, she got Kelly drunk and made sure he woke up next to her in bed. Kelly believed her when she told him he made her pregnant. They were about to elope to Las Vegas, but her mother ratted her out and Kelly abandoned her. She almost married Floyd, but jilted him at the altar. She went to work for Quint. When the baby came prematurely, Kelly saved both of them. She named the baby Kelly Louise to irk Morgan, who was now married to Kelly. When she fell in love with Quint, she had a change of heart over all the trouble she had caused, so she changed the baby's name to Anastasia Louise, shortened to Stacey. Quint was a devoted stepfather and Henry treated her like his own granddaughter.  After Quint and Nola leave SF, I believe Stacey is never seen again. Which is odd, you would think they would have brought her back with Nola and J, but they never did.
