Private Practice - Season 4

Every time I think I want to watch this again, I'm brought back to Addison being handed Naomi's entire life as Naomi is given a quadriplegic as a love interest before being written out.

I think blood came from my eyes.

Is Private Practice worth watching? Now I'm intrigued!

BTW Audra MacDonald, who according to Wikipedia played Naomi in Private Practice, is also in an absolutely great show I am binge-watching at the moment -- The Good Fight.

Well if you're interested sample a few episodes of the first season to see if you like it or not. It's a partial rewatch/new binge for me since I didn't watch too much of the last three seasons. It's on the IMDb TV section of their site.

For me, it’s typical Shonda. Wonderful actors (and Audra and especially Caterina Scorsone are great), but goes waaaay off the rails. Worth watching, though.

Don't waste your time on PP.  As for The Good Fight, how's AM's airtime?

Also, you guys know she's a very successful opera singer, right?

Oops, sorry to spoil you but in many ways, I did you a huge favor.

No I knew about the spoiler. Audra is a successful BROADWAY star who has won several Tony's in her career.

I see your point but doesn't she sing in different venues, even performs for presidents?

Yeah. There was a lot that I liked about it but

what happened to Amy Brenneman’s character was horrifying and disgraceful

Oh wow! What grades do you teach?

High school world history. To put things into perspective, I was in the summer between 7th and 8th grade when I first started posting here 😬

I tried The CW's TWO SENTENCE HORROR STORIES last night and was over it by the end of episode two. The first episode was all right, but the second one was too weird. It's only a half-hour, and there have only been nine episodes, so I might give the rest a shot, but idk

Yep. Her shows always go too far. I didn’t finish HTGAWM, but I find Shondaland series to be primarily shock value with good actors.

Shonda may as well wear a sign that says "no need to watch after S1".  Her shows turn horrible really fast!

And yet Netflix has given her full rein to produce shows with abandon. I’m interested in seeing what materializes from that freedom. Will the cray-cray be that much more pronounced?
