Eh it's not like they're going to last long. Morgan Fairchild's only around through this month or maybe next month. Hattie and Bonnie are a bit much when together but it's some much needed comedy and featuring two good actresses neglected by this show. I'm willing to overlook some things.

Really liked Brady and Lucas sharing scenes. Brady has lost his marbles over Nicole and Eric. Can't believe Lucas fell off the wagon after 9 years. Liked Chloe walking in at the end and I liked the cliffhanger of Marlena calling John.

Sorry haters to the left but I see a lot of improvements. The stories suck but I look for other things besides that, there's more to a soap. Like characters interacting who haven't and should, history, layers and subtext in conversations ... some of those things have been improved immediately.

I don't think these improvements will last very long. Nevertheless i liked when Bonnie mentioned that she sold Maggie's chachkies. During the time Maggie was believed dead and Bon Bon was married to Mickey. Marlena mentioning her late twin Samantha taking her place was another great use of history.  I can't remember the last time Lucas interacted with John or Brady. The problem with Lucas and Adrienne is so much of their relationship happened offscreen.  Even Adrienne's breast cancer story wasn't much of a story. I'm just jaded and don't have the blind faith to believe this latest reboot will work.

I get feeling jaded. We've had regimes come in and for a few months it was better but then it fell apart and we were on to the next regime.

I really don't care for Adrienne and Lucas either, as you said their story and romance is basically off-screen. I don't necessarily love Lucas jumping off the wagon just because of that when I thought he should have when Will died, but I can justify it and buy it. I'm glad Bryan's getting airtime again and Lucas is treated as a member of the canvas. Abe is even getting something to do.

Ron's even making me like Eric and Nicole again even if the story is a year late and a bit forced. I liked him taking pictures and them talking about how they first got together. We never got anything history wise really under Dena. Like Lucas listing off all the women who have cheated on him and Lucas and Brady discussing both dating Nicole. lol. I've always found Brady more interesting as a hot mess instead of some romantic sap in relationship after relationship so I'm ready for him to start doing lines and trashing more rooms! lol

But it remains to be seen, as a whole, how the show will be. I'm giving it a chance right now and willing to overlook a couple of things, but I'll be all over Ron if he starts pulling the usual [!@#$%^&*]. But it's nice to see him tweet and tease the show and actually watch it.

I think Hattie and Bonnie work better when they're one on one with someone else besides each other, it's a bit too over the top but I thought their scenes and watching porn were funny. I get how some don't.

He also quickly fixed the Chabby mess. I don't really buy Gabi and Abby still being besties but I'm willing to ignore the forced Chad/Gabi nonsense and have this basically be a reset.

I also appreciate how they had, even if it was Hattie as Marlena, call out John for all of his leaving. And I like how he's had scenes with Eric and Lucas and even Kate again. The canvas is interacting as it should! (Jennifer and Lucas got to be brother and sister! Maggie visited Abby!)

I liked how Steve and Kayla finally had it out and said a lot of things that needed to be said and they finally gave Kayla a POV.

I really don't care about who killed Deimos so that needs to wrap up soon.

I see improvements as well, especially in terms of relationship building.  Jennifer/Lucas was among the highlights for me.

Agreed. I hope they keep it up.

Marci Miller and Billy Flynn have the best chemistry i have ever seen. I will say this right now a star is born in Marci Miller. She has the biggest potential for primetime/movies. The girl has star written all over her.

Yeah, she's a Super Gem.

Was nice to see Lucas and Chloe interact. I know I shouldn't laugh but Lucas is a hilarious drunk.

Brady is a [!@#$%^&*] moron. He'll have himself to blame for Nicole dumping his sorry ass. Sort of enjoyed Victor today for a change. I guess.

They can wrap up Sonny and Chad now. Zzzzz. Still don't care who killed Deimos. They did us a favor.

I like that John still knows something is up with Hattie/Marlena. I like Eric involved in this.

Decent episode.

Second that....who cares??

Abe being arrested for counterfeiting came out nowhere. Yet it was interesting and gives Abe a much needed story.  Rope's treatment of Abe was appalling. Hope has known Abe for years. She's going to blindly believe that Abe is capable of counterfeiting. A bland undeveloped Lani showed flashes of a personality as she angrily defended her father to Eli. Loved the defying way Val threw the  jewelry to the floor.

I do hope it is a setup for Abe because it makes no sense unless someone is blackmailing him for money in exchange for revealing info on where (a much alive) Lexie is.  His only way of obtaining the money is to print it. haha....
