Well, tbh, I don't think these twists and turns with that character is her fault. I think the story she had planned was overruled. What's a girl to do? They sign her paycheck.

That was avoided wasn't it. They came to an agreement this week. It so I thought.

Scott has been a complete fail in all aspects IMO. I've said it before but I expect him to be gone in a year or so.

The Mariah & Hillary material flopped the moment they had Hillary trip her and the story became "Mariah is so great and Hillary is just evil so Mariah deserves everything she has" I've always shown love for CG here but they've done her a huge disservice with this heavy handed garbage.

Barely been able to keep up with the show this week so I'll share my thoughts later.

It's nice to see someone other than myself admit that this writing was heavy handed and designed to make Hilary some evil villain and deserving to lose all to Mariah. And the show seems hell bent on giving it to her despite it being a fail.

Scott is just a directionless character. I think the actor is handsome though he needs a haircut. He's likable and can act. He just needs a clear plan and purpose.

Curious to know what you think about the Jordan and Chelsea connection.

Oh now we have Nikki aka Shirley Partridge.   I had actually gotten through my first episode in five months (Dina's first episode this week) because of Dina and the flashbacks.  But then came Hillary/Mariah talk show scenes, day player Tessa and Nikki fake playing the organ....LOL.  OMG. It's not offensive, it's just so, so, lame ass.  Who are all these day players they keep introducing. Tessa, Reid's gf, Juliet, etc.   awful. Sorry Sally, five months in and the show is b-a-d.

That's what I think as well.  IDK why, but I just feel like a lot of what we are seeing these days is because either CBS or SONY (or both) are interfering too damn much with the writing.

What happened to Scott being forced by Christine? It's odd Pratt really went heavy on vets with few new characters introduced. This wretched regime has done opposite and worse - hired bad actors.

Only Reed and Tessa have potential - the teen girls - pass; Juliet, Jordan, Ravi and Scott are all yawns and all 4 have a creep/stalker factor to their characters. If I didn't know better, I'd guess Sally is trying to find her 'Sheila'

And Mal Young. I think alot of what we are seeing are his ideas that he was able to push through. I think he's wrestled power over writing from Sally tbh. She was very clear about Philly. Yet here we are with Philly onscreen and we all know he's the leader of that fan base.

The only newbies I care about are Scott and Reed because they are children of legacy characters. Sally can ditch the rest. I hate Tessa.

Friday's show was cheesy bad. Nikki looked stupid on stage with Tessa.

She just pops in once in a while to talk to Scott, Phyliss or Jack. I wish Michael were out of her orbit. She needs to get back with Paul and maybe become involved in some murder mystery a la Hart to Hart version. She has been so boring(Toups takes another drink...LOL) since she hooked up with Gay Michael.

    • Judging by the fact that I was able to watch two episodes today, looks like Canada being a day ahead might be permanent.
    • Agreed! I normally don't rate Amanda Setton that highly as an actress, but she knocked those scenes out of the park. Between this and the Michael storyline, I think we're in for a week of juicy drama. I heard everyone talking about how dull Rory Gibson was on Y&R, but I thought he was pretty good today playing a steelier version of Michael. And I loved Wiley's little "Bye mommy!" moment. The writers clearly know how much most of us hate Willow if they're tossing out little nuggets of schadenfreude like that one.
    • Slower day, but not bad. I thought Tomas was at his personal best today, flirting with Kat at Uptown.  Hayley is pregnant!  Oh boy... Samantha felt more like the babysitter today vs. the young sister. I'm ready to meet Sharon. I want a strong dynamic so it's not a repeat of what we just saw with Tracy's reunion.
    • They've been on same day for three episodes, which is a good thing because the days flowed weird to me before.
    • I see both Lois and BLQs sides re Gio BLQ wanted her son to be happy. Lois wanted to make sure it happened, so she gave him to family. Selfish?  Yes, but I get it Gio was raised by a loving mother and extended family. Lois followed BLQ wishes Great acting by AS & RS

date: Tuesday, May 27 | Christopher Dunn, Lynn Martin | Steven Williford I feel bad for Chelsea; she's exploring her feelings, and they're getting [unintentionally] hurt. But I love the support that Katherine has for her cousin. Bradley, you deserve one hundred times better than Deadbeat. So much more. Anita essentially tossing Tracy out... whew. She's done. DONE. Ouch... Chelsea hit the nerve with Katherine. How interesting... I feel like Tracy is becoming the mirror Anita has been avoiding while being a Dupree. What are these top secret things she's harbouring? I really hope Jessica's interest in Tyrell is genuine, because if it isn't, it might just destroy him. Back alley meetings? Your family? As if Bradley is not part of your family... Deadbeat, sit your ass down. Hey, Childbride, lower your damn voice. You're in the country club, not the country field where your ass belongs. And oh God, she's knocked up. Whew... here we go! Dante Greene, what control did this man have? But I appreciate that Anita and Tracy are uniting together; I pray that Sharon joins them soon. I love how easy Katherine and Tomas are with each other; it's smooth, it's natural and it's blooming in all the right ways. Hayley is about to battle the Dupree women for all she's worth. I am calling it right now. The unwavering support Vernon continues to provide to Anita is paramount; I adore them as the couple they are. Notes: Mike Manning (Bradley) continues to show up time and time again in scenes with Brandon Claybon (Deadbeat), who brings nothing to the table. There is an extreme lack of romantic chemistry between them. I'm wondering how different Dante Greene is going to be in comparison to Berry Gordy Jnr; we know the true history of Diana Ross and the Supremes, but how different will it be with Anita Williams and the Articulettes?
    • This episode is beyond excellent Could have waited on tge Trina Kai scenes  but regardless  great soap
    • Haha same! I didn't like her in the beginning, but over time, I've really grown to love to hate her as a villain.  I can't wait to listen to today's new episode later tonight! I've been waiting for the mom and dad (Crystal/Vincent) to have an interaction, so I'm happy to hear it's today.
    • I've always really been enjoying the show. It's very well produced and has so many soap stars in it. I was just listening to ep 7 on YoutTube and can say I'm hooked. There was an intense scene with Crystal Chappell and Vincent Irizarry about halfway through that was GOOD! Is it bad I kind of like Mina? I know she's supposed to be the main villian
    • This isn't a bad episode, but I'm finding myself not as engaged. Must be the lack of Eva and Leslie. No Nicole, Dani.
