They could have made a REALLY interesting story about social media with Reed but instead we get a story from 1996 of him stealing his mom's credit card when in all likelihood he'd be getting nudes on Snapchat. These people know nothing about modern technology.

Nudes are no where near as interesting as cam. I don't have to be a teenage boy to know that. I think they were pretty smart to make this story about caming. Especially, since a teen boy looking at a nude is something many parents are smart enough to ignore, but you can't ignore your underage kid actually interacting with a "naughty nymph". It's basically the equivalent of being at a strip club.

I agree that camming is a more reasonable turn for this Reed story. They could take it many places. He could get suckered into meeting some older older woman and marked by her and her boyfriend for some scam.

Again, not the same individual attention as cam.  When I lived in Tampa I had a roommate who did this for a living and that girl made bank. Once in awhile she'd get a guy to just give her a few thousand over the course of a weekend.

You can get nude videos sent to you directly on snapchat...

My point isn't the idea of watching live video of somewhere stripping, it's the where and how.

Unless they plan never to mention CI ever again on this show, what's the problem with having it exist as a viable corporation?  I thought folks were tired of Jabot and Newman being the sole corporate entities in Genoa City?

If Genoa City is truly a midsize city and not a small town (as people have told me repeatedly in the past), wouldn't it makes sense that there would be more than one 'salt mine' in the city?

Originally, I thought Lauren's story was all about hightlighting a different family business besides the Newman's and the Abbott's. Maybe I was wrong? Do people actually want to see the writers beat that same ole horse, over and over again??

Again, I ask...what is wrong with making Chancellor Industries a viable company on the GC canvas? Is it budget concerns? Because we all know that the excuse of Jess being unavailable is nonsense, right?

I think they're doing with Fenmores what they did w/CI years ago merging them together to feature them.I guess that freshens up Jabot so it's not the same ole thing? But yet the main company is still headed by a man.

Even when Kay was alive they didn't want to give screen time to a large company headed by a woman. The only exception was when Jill was Kay's daughter and CI bought Jabot. Jill was with Ji-Min then. But none of it lasted very long, it reverted back to normal in no time. It's patriarchy only on Y&R.

I haven't picked up any interest in Jess/Jill or Chancellor Industries from any of the writing so far.

Jess Walton only went into "retirement" because they stopped writing for her/wrote crap. She WANTS to be there, that's clear. Because whenever she's there she puts all of her scene partners to shame. Watching her try to act against the three stooges (Billy, Victoria and Cane) is like watching Meryl Streep share a screen with January Jones. Laughable.

I had high hopes for the new writers but it looks like Sally's really into, I repeat, really into, Gloria. Judith Chapman must be the new pet because she's been on everyday, and there's no end in sight. So far most of the Fenmore story has been written around her.

Jill has been pushed to the periphery in a story where she should be featured. She was sent on a cruise without having a conversation with Jack, and only one conversation with Lauren. It's not like Jill not to be all over this. I guess Jess doesn't chew enough scenery for Sally.

^ I'm not getting your point at all.  People pay to interact with sex workers live on the net all the time, so I don't think it's unrealistic that Reed would do that. He saw something he wanted and went for it. He's 15 years old, I don't think it's that surprising that he wasn't thinking with his big head when it came to payment method.

They could have modernized the story by using technology that's really popular with kids right now. That's my point.

^ And then it still would have been unrealistic, unless we think Reed is to stupid to clear his web browser. Pretty sure everyone under 50 knows how to do that. Anyway, it doesn't look like this plot point is over, so it doesn't much matter.

YR is the new seinfeld a show about nothing.  I would rather have Dena Higley head writing YR over SallUGH.

Okay, we're clearly not communicating well but this story isn't interesting enough to continue the conversation frankly lol.

It's become the Gloria Show. I feel asleep and missed the whole second half hour of the show. That's how bored I was with the episode. I don't know where Sally Sussman thought that putting Gloria front and center would make must see tv.  And they are still talking about Dylan...how boring...who cares.

And Victoria and Nick's talk....zzzzzzz...two boring losers.

It's so sad how Victoria lost her backbone once AH took over the role.

I really liked where the show was going until Gloria showed up.  I simply can't abide her and her stupid facial expressions.

Pratt was much more entertaining. I seriously would rather watch a towering inferno again over this crap.
