B&B: December 2016 Discussion Thread

You know it's sad how predictable B&B really is. Like we knew Katie's clubbing was fake because Quinn and Katie would've had multiple fights and threats and plotting. B&B doesn't do spontaneous or unpredictable well - and when they've attempted it (Ivy and, to a certain extend, Myron, Caroline/Thomas), it's been disastrous. I'm back to reading synopsis first and then I'll watch episode if it seems decent + knowing which scenes to FF.

Why was Liam STILL at Forrester? Go somewhere! With that said, IA with him. Sexy CEO? Thats cheesy and not a good look for Steffy. She's not modeling the bedroom line

So Ridge's big plan to get rid of Quinn is to seduce her? Yeah like thats not going to end well. This show is so predictable. Of course this will be what will make Brooke leave him and run back to Bill with her ho ass

I thought the same thing. He is still there? He has no say with what Wyatt put online. He doesn't work at Forrester. He can show his displeasure for it at home when the hoe that is Steffy arrives and continues her adulterous affair with Liam.

Yup, everyone sees this a mile away.

No, the Forresters are the core of B&B. The problem is that Bradley Bell can't write for the Forresters or anyone else on the canvas. His writing is horrible. He is a hack writer.

uh, is Santa serious with this 1950s values ish, he's married to a Kidnapper, sop it Brad, that's a lame plot point

Given back in the day, Santa  bullied Ridge into doing this to Brooke/Thorne, this would be better if Ridge had Liam seduce Quinn

Why is everyone invested in who Steffy is sleeping with? Eric needed to STFU telling her to move out of Liam's bc she's humiliating Wyatt. And now Nicole is on the Wyatt/Steffy bandwagon

Im glad that Steffy called Eric out on how its okay for a man (he and Ridge) to move on to their next partner while still married yet its all of a sudden wrong with her

Quinn to Ridge: "Did you ever think about combing your hair?"

Ridge: "You want to run your hands through it, dont you?"

Quinn: "I dont think there's enough hand sanitzer in the building." LMAO at this shade. Ridge's hair is nasty

WTF kind of ending was that. Like huh?

Bradley Bell continues to write the same sh!t over and over to give Liam a story. Yet, he can't write something for Caroline.

Quinn and Ridge is just horrible on all levels.

2 more days and my B&B viewing is over with.

    • That was so surprising to me today. I didn’t see any spoilers that this was coming up so I loved it!
    • Well, VI was leaving, and while Long admits that killing him was stupid...I do agree with letting him go with a big bang...body missing.  They spent a lot of time and money on Infinity, (which I think might have gotten a bit of a better reputation had it not been the harbinger of a total tonal change with the Bauers and Reardon's decimated and its all Reva and the Lewis and the weird people hanging out around Kyle) so they needed it to end dramatically. They could have done so much more with having Alex go after Kyle and Billy, but that ends and she starts moping over weird and boring Simon. With Kurt..what were you going to do.. cute but boring and perfect and with ties to no one (they had a nice little thing where Bea took him under her wing when everyone left but then she did too..) If they had the balls they would have had Rick and Mindy jump in the sack ( I know, Mindy should have learned birth control by then) I would have had it be Mindy who knows about Rick's drug use and she tries to help him...(not that nobody who came and went) of course, Kurt and Roxie misunderstand..that on top of her bad Sampson Girl thing leaves him to leave her temporarily, and in grand soap tradition, Rick and Mindy console each other (again, I would write it that they always really did, and Mindy rushed into things with Kurt) and she gets knocked up, and loving Rick but also Kurt she chooses to believe it is Kurts (which I could see Princess Mindy doing "My life is perfect and I will it that way, this is Kurts kid")But, she had the dumb model thing, then she burned down the house he was building, she tried to get prefers and he dies (but also Kobe was the one who built him up, then she was gone when he was let go.) Ross believe it or not is one of the last of the "old guard" characters, beside Ed (who is now FauxEd) and Maureen, and Henry and Van (who is ties to being the Lewis family mope.) JVD has made jokes that they didn't write him out as they simply forgot that he was there! Reva doesn't even call her mother when she comes back! I never saw the use of Sarah but they could have reunited them and sent her and Hawk out of town together. Hell, I don't like the Shaynes but she should have mentioned Roxie and Rusty.  The weird thing is that Dylan had a ton of story and was very important to the Van/Bridget baby custody story. By the time Reva comes back Dylan had only been gone a year so its not like people wouldn't know him..( I liked him and Bridget together...) So he comes back in 97 and acts like it's no big deal Reva is alive so they must have talked off camera. But Reva was too busy squacking about that annoying toothy Marah and blank Shayne to talk about anything else.  It's not quite as weird as Van, who obsessed over Peter, comes back to SF and never mentions him...i.e. "I saw Peter this weekend and he so barely remembers me but he is happy with Bridget and Dylan...")
    • Excellent! The OLTL-GH promo places this and the RH episode (which I assume aired directly before this AMC) as airing during the week of Aug. 20.
    • Thanks! There's never enough early 1980s AMC around.    The only actor I don't recognize is the actress playing Wanda, Mike's agent.
    • lol he sounds like he's speaking as Randy
    • Dani going to Bill's house is karma for how he messes with Martin. It is totally separate, but I can't feel sorry for Bill when he's constantly antagonizing a family he says he wants nothing to do with.
    • I understand what Lois did. I can see everyone's side, even if I don't agree with them.  That  proves it's a good story    Lois is far from ruined
