I'm sure this comes as no surprise to anyone but Lisa LoCicero (Olivia) is officially on recurring status (per the closing credits). Her final week credited on contract was August 1-5.

Frankly, there are recurring actors who I see more often on GH than contract ones.

She was the last holdout there. Other than say Paul and Andre on occasion, most of the contract cast are seen weekly/every other week.

I don't understand why two older women can't write for 50-ish Olivia anything better than that awful breast feeding story---which was filler to pimp Crimson and Redzilla in the end. I know Olivia isn't a favorite here, but I'd rather watch her making pasta for Dante than Ninny drooling over every man she's in a scene with. I swear I thought she was going to jump over the table and molest Curtis the other day...

I like Olivia, but she's been languishing in the background for a long time.

Me too. It would make sense to put them together. I don't know, I've just always liked the actress, but I'm resigned to this show disappointing me.

On a minute by minute basis, unfortunately...

 

I totally forgot about her.

Give a happy ending with Ned and call it a day.

She's been on contract way too long!  Liv was never anything more than Dante's mother, a role NEVER worthy of a contract. 

Time to give Bree W a contract. Give her anything she wants.

She probably WAS bumped to make room for Frank's latest pet.

 

Not surprised though. I like the actress but they never did anything with Olivia, really. They made her an annoying pain in the ass. She had good chemistry with Ned and Robert but yet they do nothing with it. And having her knocked up by Julian was the dumbest thing ever.
