Frankly, I'm fine with Lucas on the sidelines.  Carnes is not the greatest actor, and besides, I wouldn't trust anyone at GH to write responsibly for the character.

I agree. I think Carnes can be good but he's just never given the material. When Ronnie gave them airtime they sat around watching Knots Landing, so maybe the less they have the better.

GH is such a hot mess. The whole Plywood and Claudette flashback scenes of the shooting were downright bad. So Griffin is the ex of Claudette that Plywood shot and doesn't remember …..LOL….why do they continue to write these lame stories for Plywood? The guy can't even act. The Pillsbury Dough B trying to figure out what happened to Nikolas was cringeworthy…..and the killer doctor too….its obvious who the killer is….LOL…...

That's not correct. When Scott became Ava's bodyguard for a few days and she asked why he needed the money, he said Raymond Berlin swindled him out of his fortune.

He's not related to any of the prior characters (as of today).  He carries around a companion lizard. His intro was pretty basic. He looked familiar to a few but that was it.
