If that's true it makes me really sad. I liked how Hope stepped up to give Chase a home. It really frustrates me that instead of getting a de facto adoption story, they are going to hand us this crap. 

I guess this is another trope of "if the father is evil the son must be too." And just what DAYS needs - yet another woman who is raped. 

 

There's a real sickness in DAYS now, and no,  I don't think that's all on Higley. It reminds me of a toxic cocktail of the worst of JER and the worst of JFP's AW + Sheffer and Carlivati.

Rape? Oh joy. Now we have to watch this mediocre actress take on a sensitive subject, and I think we can all assume that this'll mostly likely lead to Ciara being pregnant b/c DAYS has to go there. 

 

Is this all the story that they can devise for young teens? If so then watch Degrassi. They tell a plethora of stories that are suitable and relevant to young adults.

peeps are saying this 'spoiler' is taking place next week, btw? I just don't buy it. It seems from way left field, tbh. There is usually a semblance of development/set up for story like this... I think it's just peeps taking the piss out of DOOL's renewal. 

All I can say is that Lauralee Bell who spent her first few years on Y&R as a very green actress will probably still be better on her rape story compared to this Ciara actress.....

I hope this isn't true there's a sweet and earnest quality to Chase. The girl that plays Ciara couldn't carry a rape stories. I hate that everything on Days is dark and depressing.

Chase is possibly the best of the new teens, so of course they'd ruin him with a short-sighted (and overdone) rape story. And there is zero chance that there would be a social value component to this story. Gross. 

I very much hope it's not true.

 

I do think DAYS is obsessed with 'bad' people/families only breeding mostly bad people, and so far their treatment of Chase vis a vis Aiden has been typical of that.

There are so many reasons this is an awful choice. I said I'd be done when Greg Vaughan exits, and this really helps me cement that sentiment.

Yep Theo is the best teen on DAYS. Chase is boring and the actor is meh. I have no interest in seeing his pouty face
