Who cares TBH? This character never popped under either actor and I'm actually one of the few that likes Grayson. Like many other forgotten characters, he should join them and just not be brought up anymore.

Derringer was worse than McCouch, but as long as the character is gone, whatever.

Ha ..I thought this was about Kiki.  I actually preferred the original actor. I am glad he is coming back. He was even more appealing looks wise than Oily McCouch. 

 

Has this ever happened before? Where original portrayer returns after his recast sucks…LOL

The character vanished after Anna left…..or was he seen afterwards??  I am assuming the Anna romance will end before it started with JP as HW.

I never understood why they replaced the original actor.  He was just starting to click in the role and they replaced him without any explanation.  And now, they are bringing the original actor back again, without explanation.  Show business is Strange business.

Many times has the original actor been brought back in soaps because "the original" was better for the all-important ratings.  Some examples I can think of:  Donna Love on AW, Lisa on ATWT, Greenlee on AMC, Lucky on GH,  and Bo on DOOL.  I am probably missing a few, but I'm sure the well-versed experts in our family here will have many, many more examples.
