Rachel Melvin books work pretty regularly and did Dumb & Dumber To (I know), Shelley Hennig got a primetime series that was short-lived, Casey Deidrick is/was on MTV's Eye Candy, Taylor Spreitler did four seasons of Melissa & Joey, etc. So I doubt this pattern will change anytime soon. Members DRW50 Posted July 1, 2015 Members Share Posted July 1, 2015 Some will find work, sure, but if they're just slogging along it's not the hype that greeted people like Chandler Massey (who had gushy articles from the soap "press" talking about how he was going to be a movie star). Then you have the Darin Brooks types who had primetime work and still came back to soaps. Generally more seem to get little from leaving compared to how it was supposed to be.
