I love the more superior Olsen anyway, Elizabeth... even though in Olsen solidarity, I doubt she'd ever come on this show.

But they both look so haggard now, Ashley too but I think there's something wrong with her, then I feel sad. But definitely no to MK.

I know, I know and I'm so happy for her because she was AMAZING in Avengers II but I mean... can you imagine? I wouldn't have even wanted them for this sequel. I would want their insanely talented and critically acclaimed sister.

I have a feeling this project is going to have a lot of egomania, so she's probably better off staying away even if she wasn't related to them.

I rag on the Marvel movies but I do think Elizabeth Olsen is a good actress.

LOL! Oh no doubt.... but that was my initial reaction about Michelle because I don't get how the Olsen Twins could do it, eeven if they wanted to since now you can definitely tell them apart. MK just seemed to age more and it's nagl.

Ha! But she really is, even though I couldn't get that deep into the cult movie EO was in.

Well, the reunion is a one-time special. The series doesn't contain the entire cast the way The Bradys did.

Now, if Stephanie becomes an alcoholic and recovers in one episode, and Kimmy is a race car driver who becomes paralyzed and recuperates in one episode, then we have a problem.

Lori must get so tired of all those endless interviews! I'm glad she'll be back though even if it's just very part time.

I don't care about seeing the Olsen girls. And Michelle isn't needed anyway. It worked better when it was just DJ and Stephanie.

I hope Kimmy's daughter makes her very miserable. People like Kimmy should never be mothers. Ever.

It cracks me up that people are wringing their hands over DJ being a widow. I'm getting so tired of all the drama about this spin off.

I can never get enough of John Stamos.

I understand why there was such drama over the Olsens - they were the big draw, back in the day. They ruled the '90s, which is how they made their fortune. I also never expected them to do it, really. It'll do well with or without them. It's a dreadful show, but most of us have seen every terrible episode at least five times. And God help me, I always loved Aunt Becky.

I loved Becky too. I'm not sure why there's all this fawning over people doing the show. I mean, of course Lori and Bob will guest. The press needs to chill. And I'm so tired of hearing about the Olsen twins. They were never going to do it. They've moved on and IMO the stans who keep crying about them need to move on too.

Michelle.being the focus hurt the show...so glad they aren't doing it. Michelle could be referred to as out of town in new York and mentioned off.screen.

I think for this to stand on its own...it has to separate itself from full house a.bit. DJ was always peacemaker between Stephanie and Kimmy...and it was focused on.a.nit during the original show..

They need to just do a high profile actress as a recast for Michelle. It's not a difficult role to recast. So many notable actresses in that age range who can put a fresh spin on the role. They were children on the show, if they weren't so famous nobody would even question them for recasting.

    • Thanks. I'm glad we have some fan memories of these years as this is such a typically snide take on the genre. It's also poorly written and reminds me a great deal of the tedious "snark" recaps that became popular in the '90s. The end in particular. The 1979/80 stuff I have seen is much more polished than a number of soaps at the time. It was very easy to watch and not too bogged down in past story.  Margo is played by Ann Williams, who was on what seemed like every soap. I think she said Margo was her favorite role.
    • And the rating 'wars' continue...hehe.
    • Well, it was fun while it lasted for Rebecca Herbst. Le sigh.
    • I am wholeheartedly enjoying this show. I just haven't been able to post as much as I used to. But yes, this episode needs to be submitted for the EMMYs and there needs to be wins. I better NOT see Y&R, DAYS, or B&B winning in categories over BTG. I feel like the only show that is giving BTG an ounce of competition this season is GH.
    • I never thought the day would come, but too much MM for me.
    • I think it may be that the character was brought in for a specific purpose and then became popular with viewers, and the show didn't know how to respond.  The choice to pivot away from Simon/India may show that you are right and they didn't care for her...although pairing them up may be another sign they didn't care for her. I don't connect well with this period but it does make me happy seeing some of these characters before the great purge and some of the surprises - I'd forgotten the wonderful Maureen O'Sullivan popped up to be bumped off. So typical of soaps by this point, but it doesn't grate as much as later on when Y&R would bring on any random cast member from Small Wonder. I'm also amazed at this time at just how much money the show must have had. The costumes for the Founder's celebration in summer 1984, or whatever it was, looked gorgeous.
    • Which officially started to feel that way today with them hearing each other out as they confronted each other at the same time.    Same. He was even catching himself when he was about to go overboard or do those tics that people don't seem to like. He failed a bit at the end, but he carried. It makes me think about a month back when it was discussed that the actor was better in other things he's been in. And I questioned then if that meant that he was playing Martin more intentionally. I questioned that briefly again today because he was giving.
    • I really like the actress who plays Margo. Don't know  her name. I'm so hesitant to google anyone because I don't want to know the length they were on the show. I've watched two episodes and I have to say that the show does not feel as dated as other shows. I tried to watch Ryan's Hope a few weeks back and some of the acting was a bit rough. EON is a lot more natural which amuses me considering it's a mystery/thriller show.
    • She’s INCREDIBLE. I’m so glad you enjoyed this my friend.
