I get what you're saying. And I'm not saying Sam should make the leap the way you stated. I just think there should be a shadow of a doubt that Jason is dead. Which could lead her to have suspicions about Jake. I think Jason even went through amnesia when he was with Sam.

She had decided, long before she heard from Robin via Patrick that Jason was dead. But Robin was at Creighton Clark, a Cassadine facility. Helena Cassadine was dead, now she's not. Lots of people in PC come back from the dead, are the citizens not aware of that? Sam knows that she can't trust Faison or the Cassadines to tell the truth.

The puzzle pieces are all there. Helena's involvement/Danny's affection toward Jake/the dragon/the ring/the previous brain surgery/the previous amnesia/Jake's unwillingness to hurt Sam/his visions of being with her. We know that eventually she will find out that Jake is Jason, but the way the writers have gone about this story is ridiculous. It would have been better for Sam to have no contact with Jake, no conversation with him about her life, and let the reveal be a true and utter shock. I feel like this way dumbs down the story and characters,

In order to pass this off they have to make Patrick an a-hole that doesn't care about Robin and her whereabouts. They skirt the issue of Emma and Robin's lack of a relationship. They make Robin a victim, and a heartless person for not telling anyone about Jason for so long. Emma seems to have amnesia and forgotten she has a mother. Sam, the private investigator, does nothing to find out every little thing she can about the love of her life's supposed second real death. Everyone is unquestioning of why Helena is back from the dead, so they all look dumb. Then the writers toss Carly and Liz into the Jake story to misdirect the viewer from all the things I listed. They should have just recast Robin instead of this Rube Goldberg story.

It looks as though Jake is the new Fluke with a dragged out story and I have to wonder if the writers even know what they're going to do with Jason once he knows who he is. Whether GH makes it another year or not, I'm not sure I can.

It's incomprehensible that a con artist like Sam would ever believe what anyone else says. Wouldn't rabid skepticism be an occupational hazard among grifters? If a person lies and runs cons for a living, it makes sense he or she would assume everyone else lies too.

Are we to believe that riding Jason's magic peen cured her of all that? Seems unlikely.

I was in the store and flipped through the SOD they had...

The letters page had a letter about how Brad and Lucas just weren't the same without Felix around, because Felix didn't just jump into bed with men (unless they were straight - then he'd do his best to ride that dick like Joan Crawford at a Pepsi board meeting), and that Felix was "classy" (nothing says classy like encouraging a child to verbally abuse adults, and repeatedly berating a pregnant woman for ruining your shipper dreams).

The fan response page had a long piece from some fan going on about how much they loved Franco/Julian/Sonny in Pentonville and how great they were together and what a pleasant surprise it was.

Clearly I have few representatives among the GH fanbase...

Jesus F Christ. I refuse to believe those are real letters from real fans.

GH should stand for Gag Hour

At this point i think that may be a better name for the casting department. (or maybe that should be "No Gag Hour")

Wait! I thought Michael Fairman was the queen of exclamation points.

Not enough exclamation points.

I went...whaaaat? I could 't believe Ron went there. And what's with Carly? She's usually up Sonny's behind but she finds out LAST NIGHT that Spencer was in a fire and didn't think it deserved a call, or a text, to Sonny? Jeez.

Going to take a while to get used to NuKiki because she looks nothing like OldKiki.

Yep franco thinks Nina is phyllis from Wisconsin. Sony should threaten to Sue ABC/Disney. Maybe that would get Ron fired
