Nancy Lee Grahn looks like she's auditioning for a Barbra Streisand helmed remake of "House of Wax". (Also, it's time for a new haircut. It's not 1996 anymore and we've been sick of those bangs since you were the menopausal principal on 7th Heaven, Nancy). JE didn't look so good either and that mid length haircut is not flattering at all. I think she should go back to the Annie Lennox length cut as it made her look younger. Sonny's miracle recovery was ridiculous. Carly should have those EMT people fired on the spot also. The new cop is cranky for no reason. The only stuff I liked was Helena/Nik/Luke. I have never seen Helena so frightened and helpless. TC did good work today, as did CT and TG. I can't believe after all these months freaking Sabrina is back on the show. It was a party, Fluke trashed a phone and Michael took a box out of the ballroom. Free drinks for everyone! Even worse, we had another example of Ron's most recent egregious failing, which started at OLTL but has gotten far worse on GH: Scenes where villains show up to do evil, are discovered and then just allowed to tip out casual-like. Helena is caught at Miscavige by Alexis? No problem, Helena, be on your way! Tracy finds Luke and Helena together and Fluke is no longer even pretending to not be evil? Well, bye, Luke, see you back at the house! Luke is trying to kill Julian and Alexis walks in? Here, take my pillow, meddling woman, I'll get you later, Julian! (Again!) Nobody reports him! And then the fugitive exits through the main GH hub! And suddenly the King of Bingo Night is threatening Helena with poor little Spencer's life. Really? Helena would kill Fluke in a heartbeat. The docks scenes were written horribly and the directing was tragic. LW and Chad did what they could and pulled it off. Just trash all around. The police call for an ambulance after Carly revives Sonny? The ambulance was already there and just left. Why even write something so damn terrible? It was the EMT's responsibility is to put Sonny's body in that ambulance no matter what. Carly be damned! The police should remove her and let the EMTs do their job. Yes, for "dramatic" reasons that didn't happen. Why not just let Carly find Sonny on her own (October 2008) and Michael helps her? They bring him back to life and then take him to a safe house with Shawn's help? This would have made more sense. The scenes were way too short and didn't pack the emotional punch they should have. Just a mess! Too much focus on that damn talking brick! So over Helz! Die old bitch, die! Fluke is an even bigger joke, and Jillian saying he can't be caught? Well would you look at this, Brickboy caught him! Anna's been fired, Dante is incapacitated, so the talking brick gets to represent the PCPD? Nicely played, FrankenRon! Soooo over these villains. Truly truly over them all. lol Chit ... agreed completely about the scenes on the pier. Just awful. Chad and Laura did what they could and both of them were very good. I thought he might go on an apology spree, so I'm impressed that Michael will get back to CarSon in his own time/way. If he never forgives Sonny, I'd be ok. Ivy's not terrible (though she feels like a Britt/Emily fill-in). But holy crap she looks like Natalia Livingston (and she's a total step up in terms of acting). Of course they have her singing Sonny's praises too. And yeah, who cares about the Ivy/Nik confrontation? zzzzz. I wonder what Ivy's real purpose is.
