What, you love Billy Miller as Jason?

LOL.

Soaptown had a pretty spot on "article" posted about GH. Shocked it wasn't linked in here. Maybe I can find it again.

I also love how people's defenses against the show is that "well you must hate it so why bother talking about it". LOL. That's WHY people get outraged. It's because they DO love the show.

^ I've always liked Tony Geary, but this is one hell of a bad patch we're going through. I think I even enjoy Ron's GH on a day to day basis more than most SON posters, but this Fluke stuff is one big WTF!

I also wish that Olivia's baby were Ned's. We need more Q's, not more Jerome's. mad.gif

The Sonny and Carly stuff is just making me sick. I hate it.

I don't mind Billy Miller as Jason though. ph34r.png I think he's doing a decent job.

LOL. I actually don't mind Miller as Jason either.

But Miller and Stafford are clearly only on to fill their guarantee. And it shows. Meanwhile, Monica couldn't even be on the Haunted Star for Michael?

I wish Olivia's baby were Ned's too. I like Ned/Olivia (can't stand "Julexis" though ugh). I like Sam and Patrick. I like the writing for Michael. I'm really enjoying seeing Bobbie and Jackie Zeman on a regular basis again.

I was actually somewhat liking and even enjoying some of what we've been getting lately but last week just disgusted me to no end. I'm not hating on the show like I was around June of last year but it's always a few steps forward, GIGANTIC steps backwards.

I mean, I watch almost every day and I can't even bring myself to bother with DAYS ("my" show) so I do enjoy the trainwreck that is GH more than some here too. I don't think I should lower my expectations because Guza wrote a mob heavy show. It's not like Ron is really all that much different. Sonny is on every day and propped ... Carly's a Sonny defender ad nauseum to the point that she looks like a terrible mother ... Villains run around left and right ... don't paint your characters into such corners that you have to come up with something as ludicrious as Sonny grabbing a bomb, jumping WITH it off the boat just to get someone out of prison. And in that soaptown article, it noticed how 'stars' are brought on, shoved down our throats for weeks, months and years on end and then shoved off to the side for the next one. Howarth, West, Easton (not complaining about the lack of Easton or Howarth and Ava was due for a break, IMO) were shoved aside for Miller and Stafford and now Budig will come in a hog up the screentime. Likely in scenes with one of the other show hogs.

    • I remember this being in the soap press at the time, they were going to be focused on rebuilding the Bauers, Reardons and Spauldings..and we saw they kind of just created a new Reardon (Chelsea when Nola was always supposed to be the youngest) a new Bauer with an offshoot of the main family,(Johnny) so I am sure they were going to do the same with Alan. New writers may have changed all that..(Long later brought  back Amanda for the Christmas episodes...leading into Alex/Phillip dethroning Alan.) I thought Poser should play an different character then Amanda...maybe an adopted daughter. We know Alan had a woman who he lived with in San Rios, they could have had her die and to pay her back for saving his life he adopts her daughter and trains her in all the ways to be a Spaulding. He pays a debt and he has a secret weapon to unleash on the family when he needed to so he keeps in his back pocket.

date: Tuesday, May 20 | Ron Carlivati, Cheryl L. Davis | Shelley Curtis Pack up your crap, Derek. And take that hideous chair with you, but don't throw out the food! We know you have a particular habit of doing that. Anita being nervous about Tracey's arrival is cute, and I love that Vernon joined her. I'm just hoping Sharon will join them soon. Tomas and Eva keep getting ... teased! I appreciate him filling her in on what happened with Dana and Katherine. Dana, what in the world are you working at?! If I saw you with your evil smiles in my hospital room as I woke up, I'd be questioning what nightmare I was existing within. I appreciate the continued evolution of Tomas' backstory and where he's come from. It sounds familiar to what I've heard from others, so it's nice that true history can be nodded to. Derek, there is no way in Hell Jacob and/or Naomi want your stank-gross behind crashing on their couch. Katherine better be careful; she keeps intercepting Dana at all of these places, and if she is not careful, she may become the primary target of her plans. Dante Greene? Is he the Barry Gordy Jnr of the story? I appreciate that Tracy has some genuine feelings towards Anita and their past history. But I appreciate that she is at least open-minded to reuniting with Anita on a personal basis; it'll be interesting to see how Sharon reacts when she arrives (I am guessing). Not the wig washing. Dana's personalities and wigs must be an ongoing gag. But good on Eva for calling her out about being falsely accused of running Laura off of the road. I've said it once, and I will say it again: Katherine should be a detective, because her instincts are sharper than sharp. Notes: Can we stop having the male actors on this show sitting on tables? It's such a pet peeve of mine. Like, chairs exist for your backside to sit on, not tables where we EAT! The top they have Tamara Tunie (Anita) in would annoy the frick out of me if that flower kept hitting me in my chin. I'd be pulling that crap off immediately.
    • Willow in red & I can just imagine a letter A emblazoned on it.

    • Just certain storylines. It’s definitely worth it to get caught up. He absolutely still needs to be recast.
    • Great casting for Tracy. I already love her.
    • I can't believe the gall of Leslie, but I love it! Makes great TV.  I hope they move on from this Ashley/Derek story about having difficult adjusting to living together. I get it. It's a thing. However, the way it's being written is boring. It should have been written for comedy getting on each others nerves. Maybe it would have lightened both characters and made them people to root for.  Okay. What happened to Tomas? He's improved so much this week! He is still a little dry sometimes, but I stick with him for now. I enjoy hearing his backstory and bonding with Eva.  Then, of course, Eva just rocks everything.
    • hard to believe that laura’s been in the hospital for what? — three months — and no one — not shanice, not mona — has filled her in about what happened at the anniversary party! does she not have any idea what leslie’s done.?
