OMG, thats amazing! I thought for sure she would be dead within a week when this thread was originally made. I hope she gets the mental health she so despearely needs

Same.

Wonder how much brain damage there is.

I hope she is on the way to a full recovery but I wouldn't be shocked if things still look bleak. Some people make positive things a bigger deal than it really is when they desperately want the person to recover. Not trying to be a Debbie downer it's just what I felt when I read that.

Same here. Until there's an official announcement, I'm going to file that under his being a hopeful father.

I can't even begin to keep track of the different things people are saying.

http://www.cnn.com/2015/04/20/entertainment/feat-bobbi-kristina-bobby-brown/

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston, has "global and irreversible brain damage," according to her grandmother.

Though the 22-year-old is no longer in a medically induced coma, she remains unresponsive, Cissy Houston said in a statement Monday after visiting her granddaughter.

"Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me," Houston said. "We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time."

Houston's statement matched that from a source with knowledge of Brown's condition, who told CNN on Monday that she remained in the same neurological state she has been in for nearly three months.

It sounds to me like Bobby was in denial when he said she was awake.

I don't know why Bobby and his attorney keep putting out this false hope. Its clearly obvious she's suffered severe mental damage. She's never gonna come back again. Even if she's off the respirator I don't see her being able to talk or walk let alone recovering true consciousness ever again...its sad but true and the sooner the family accepts it as the status quo the better for all the Whitney fans out there who keep hoping....

Yeah I know, I've read so much different info. One says she's awake and will have "a long life" others say nothing much has changed

Sissy is the only one speaking the truth now. BK will more than likely be in a vegetative state because she went far too long without oxygen to the brain. She won't be able to care for herself and this is so sad. Not because she's the child of a music icon but because she didn't beat the odds. The deck was stacked against her with W/B as parents, and she didn't overcome it. My heart goes out to her. It really does.

Her family have treated her as a sideshow throughout this...just as they treated Whitney as a sideshow.

Disgusting.
