This is probably a silly question but does Drake's total include his time as Roman? All the other actors have their other characters listed too.

Alfonso may eclipse Drake if his storylines stay this inconsistent. She's really the only one left that could someday take the top spot, especially if she stays, Hall leaves, and the show can stay in the air. It makes me happy to see Marlena still at number one, and Francis and John Clarke in the top 10.

I wish somebody would show as much attention and love to General Hospital. Your work is so thorough and interesting Jason!

Likely bc DH has only played John Black. He may have impersonated Roman, but he never actually was Roman. whereas with the other actors, they actually did play those characters listed. Though I'm surprised KA's counts for Gina are so high? Did that arc really go on for that long?

I bet only B&B and ATWT would come close to the number of veteran actors from such early years on their soaps still in the overall top 20 for episode totals. It shows how much stability Days had for so long. Funny to think how important people like Kayla and Patch are in popularity and impact on the show, but not if you look at time on the show. Also interesting how the current regime has people like Lucas, Marlena, John, Julie, and Hope on the canvas, but not being utilized all that much compared to Jennifer.

Yes, Drake was credited as Roman from 1986-1991, but in regards to the overall totals, I only list him as John Black, since Roman was actually a captive of Stefano's during that time frame. Same for Thaao Penghlis. Although he was credited as Tony in the 1990's-early 2000's, the storyline changed and had Tony actually being stuck on an island since 1985, so all of those episodes are credited to the role of Andre (who had been impersonating Tony for decades). The actors listed with "dual roles" are those who actually played separate characters. Roman/John was not a separate character, but just John thinking he was Roman for 5 years.
