that's exactly why she wouldn't like Marta. Amber was the same way and Brooke hated her. Women like Brooke don't like women that remind them of themselves. I think she has enough self awareness to not want Rick with a woman like her

I don't think so. Im sure Brooke will want Ridge and it would serve her best if Caroline was with Rick and not free and single to be with Ridge. She will likely view Melanie as a complication that needs to go away

I think it will be a 'personal' S/L like illness, rather than throwing her back to "Brooke being Brooke." But, you know, she's going to be in the middle of Quinn/Deacon/Brooke/Bill/Katie. There's no avoiding that. I would like for her to have flashbacks to Caroline 1.0 when she hears about Ridge and Caroline 2.0. Obviously they can only show scenes with KKL/JJ, but there's plenty of material there. It would only be natural that those feelings would resurface AND it was the centerpiece of the show for the first four years or so. I like KKL, but Brooke for someone who is educated and smart (chemist, one of the few college educated on show, and creator of Belief, etc.), get dumbed down with the way the show uses her sexuality as her only asset. KKL can pull off sexy, smart and warm-hearted.
