I always thought her work for DAYS and Knots Landing were underrated.

I agree and she also worked on Falcon Crest as well.

FORMER "DAYS" HEAD WRITER ANN MARCUS PASSES AWAY AT 93
Former "Days of Our Lives" head writer Ann Marcus passed away on Wednesday, December 3 at her home in Sherman Oaks, California at the age of 93. She was the head writer of "Days" from April 20, 1977-February 26, 1979, for a total of 482 episodes. Some of the characters she created during her tenure on the show include Chris Kositchek, Margo Horton, Donna Craig and Marlena's twin sister, Samantha Evans. Marcus received two Daytime Emmy nominations for her work on "Days" in 1978 and 1979. She was born Dorothy Ann Goldstone on August 22, 1921 in Little Falls, New York.

It's also a shame she wasn't able to put forth a lot of her ideas at Love of Life before its end. Watching some of her work there was fascinating, and I did enjoy some of her GH work. She really helped to stabilize that ship post-Monty.

She will be greatly missed.
