QUEENS OF DRAMA (Working Title)

From the producers of “Hatfields & McCoys” and “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” comes QUEENS OF DRAMA, a new docu-series which follows a group of former daytime and primetime soap stars as they attempt to produce a new primetime serial drama to star in. The cast will need to work in front of and behind the cameras as they develop, pitch, and produce this new steamy series hoping to land a pilot deal by the end of the season. The all-star cast is made up of Lindsay Hartley (“All My Children,” “Days of Our Lives”), Crystal Hunt (“Guiding Light,” “One Life to Live”), Vanessa Marcil (“Beverly Hills, 90210,” “General Hospital”), Chrystee Pharris (“Passions,” “General Hospital”) and Hunter Tylo (“The Bold and The Beautiful”), together with Donna Mills (“Knots Landing,” “Melrose Place”), Lwho will make special appearances on the program. QUEENS OF DRAMA is being produced by Thinkfactory Media, with Adam Reed, Adam Freeman, Aaron Fishman, Tim Laurie, and Leslie Greif, serving as Executive Producers.

Chrystee, haven't seen her since Scrubs I don't think. Excited for what this can be. LMAO JP.

I'm so excited for this. Pleasantly surprised to see my girl Crystal Hunt on here. I hope that whole issue with her smashing some barware in that girl's face was resolved.

Ha, now I want to look this up because I forgot about it but you piqued my curiosity.

As The Clark Sisters would say, "You Brought the Sunshine" with this picture, DaytimeFan. "You made my day!"

Can't wait! Donna Mills is far more suited to this than to GH under Ron Carlivati's poison pen. I am going to love this!

Vanessa Marcil (ex-Brenda, GENERAL HOSPITAL) is returning to soaps — sort of. The fan favorite is joining forces with a bevy of beauties from the soap world in the new original reality series QUEENS OF DRAMA, set to debut on Pop (formerly The TV Guide Network) on Sunday, April 26 at 10:00 p.m. EST before setting into its regular time slot on Wednesday, April 29 at 8:00 p.m. EST.

Joining Marcil in the 10-episode series areDonna Mills (ex-Madeline, GH; Abby, KNOTS LANDING), Hunter Tylo (ex-Taylor, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL; Robin, ALL MY CHILDREN), Crystal Hunt (Stacy, ONE LIFE TO LIVE), Lindsay Hartley (ex-Cara, AMC; Theresa, PASSIONS) and Chrystee Pharris (Simone, PASSIONS).

The women band together on the show in order to take control of their careers and produce and star in a new serialized drama so there's a "show" within the show. How much "drama" will be found in QUEENS OF DRAMA? "Everyone addresses their opinions in different ways," Marcil tells Soaps In Depth. "All of us have a different style in how we agree, how we disagree. We have big personalities in one way or another. In that sense, there's a lot of conflict that there is when you put any kind of project together."
