Its completely unrealistic for Will to just spring that on Sonny and expect him to drop everything and leave. Actually, its quite selfish of him. When he asked Sami, "how can I just ask Sonny to get up and go?" and responded : "what do you mean? Same way Im asking you". I thought he got it at first but man; like mother, like son. What a pair of selfish, narcisstic individuals. I cant beleive he just took Sami's lead.

Chad cant just take over bc he hasnt been involved in the club in over a year and just relinquished himself from those responsibilities. A move like this for 6 months takes planning, espeically if you do own a business and have people that you are responsible for. What is he supposed to do in LA, play babysitter for Ariana? Really? Sonny has a life and business to run in Salem. He can always visit every few weeks

bc they are bartenders. Sonny shouldnt be the main person hustling drinks and taking orders. He is there enough to manage things and as owner handles numbers and the business aspect of things. He is seen at that set alot. Dont act like you never view him there

I can agree that it's contrived Sonny has to stay, but isn't it equally contrived that Will would be asked to write a screenplay based on one published article? He has no experience!

What I'm hoping is that this separation introduces a badly needed third party.

Yeah it is weird that Will is now a screenwriter. If anything I could see him as a consultant and that someone else writes the script. In fact I wonder if that's what happens and is why Will returns in December. I dont think much will happen with Sonny in November besides being a talk to

Probably not, but I do wish they would give us another guy for one of them. First of all, it would just be realistic for a young couple to be tested, plus it would give the viewers to actively root for Sonny and Will again. I need some messy, fun drama here.

Sonny's time at TBD has been more than enough. He's the owner for God's sake. He goes there to oversee things, take care of problems, do paperwork (as we've seen more than once) while T and Ben handle the everyday aspect of the business. Even if he so happened to not be shown there for a couple of weeks, his presence and work there have been well established, and one cannot possibly claim that he never is there.

Fine But you even said T & Ben run the everyday business. They could continue to do so. Sonny could still do things like paperwork and time cards from LA. Its just a lame way to keep him in town when I bet they do nothing with him while Will is gone.

No Id be ok if they introduced someone as a threat but built it up. Maybe someone obsessed with Wilson. However if Sonny or Will cheats during this month break that would just be the nail in the coffin for me.

Personally I havent liked the old staple of lets have them cheat just because we can. Its overdone on all the soaps. Id like the writers to be more imaginative

    • This better be something, because as I said, so far it's just cliches and stereotypes -- the story we've heard a thousand times about the homeless person who doesn't want a home and prefers to live on the streets.
    • @rsclassicfanforever thank you very much for the recent uploads of season 13 containing some episodes that were skipped or glitchy on YouTube!  I had a look at 3172 though and there is no audio for most of it? Would you have a copy with complete audio? Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along?  Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out.  Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin?  I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
