Her documentary, A Piece of Work, is eminently watchable if you haven't. It's on Netflix.

It was beautiful. Highly recommended! A great insight into who she was & her work.

I saw this on twitter and it is just so charming.  Joan Rivers interviewing Mr. Rogers and he breaks her with his Mr Rogers powers when he starts singing to her

A friend of mine was invited to the funeral, he did business with Joan in Toronto with Canada's Shopping Channel, the Canadian retailer for Joan's jewellery and apparel lines.

I won't bother repeating the copious details that the press have already said, they're all true. But I will say these two things

When the funeral concluded with Hugh Jackman singing "Quiet Please, There's a Lady on the Stage"the entire congregation gave Joan a standing ovation.

There was a huge floral spray from TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall. I think that detail is the one that would have thrilled Joan the most.

And Peggy Noonan wrote a brilliant piece about Joan, well worth a read: http://blogs.wsj.com/peggynoonan/2014/09/05/joan-rivers-the-entertainer/

How were Cooper and Melissa doing?

Just the fact that both Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump were at the funeral is a good example of how far she reached people's hearts, no matter who you were.

How were Cooper and Melissa doing?

They were, by all accounts, just fine. Melissa gave a speech. Very stoic. Deborah Norville, who also gave a speech, said that Melissa proved she is her mother's daughter.
