August 9, 201411 yr Member Charles Keating has died. alicia coppola@alicia_coppola Charles Keating has passed. I am so very sad. Along w/ @LindaDano he was my very first acting teacher. The actress I am is because of them. https://twitter.com/...136070400143360
August 9, 201411 yr Member WOW - I am so shocked!! He provided AW fans with many memorable moments. God rest him, and bless his family, friends, colleagues and fans.
August 9, 201411 yr Member May the Lord be with Mr. Keating and his loved ones. He truly was a magnificent actor. Edited August 9, 201411 yr by Khan
August 9, 201411 yr Author Member I hear Mark Pinter's Facebook said it first than Alicia Coppola tweeted it https://www.facebook.com/mark.pinter.520 No official confirmation though
August 9, 201411 yr Member I am quite saddened by this. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones. He would have been marvelous against Strasser and Slezak in the early-mid nineties.
August 9, 201411 yr Member That is terribly sad news. Charles Keating was so fabulous on AW, I will never forget Carl.
August 9, 201411 yr Author Member It's been confirmed http://www.serialscoop.com/2014/08/charles-keating-dead-at-72.html?m=1
August 9, 201411 yr Member He was indeed a very talented and unique actor. Also, he was married to the same woman for over 50 years - a rarity for any marriage these days, but especially a show biz one.
August 9, 201411 yr Member Never saw him on the soaps, but remember his Sex and the City episode and he'll always be Rex Mottram to me from the brilliant Brideshead Revisited.
August 9, 201411 yr Member Carl/Niles/Damon/James... Charles Keating brought so much class to daytime. He will be sorely missed!
August 10, 201411 yr Member Dr. Lazarre and that talisman he'd hypnotize Silver with... that's actually the first role I saw him in.
August 10, 201411 yr Member Sad to hear this. He had so much charisma, and such a rich laugh. He took a potentially cheesy villain role and became beloved by AW fans. Not an easy feat. Victoria Wyndham must be devastated.
