She looks so plain jane. I hope they once Phyllis is properly back she gets her glam and her sex appeal back.

This 'promo' screams "we blew the last of the petty cash on Austin the stalker, that roof bar and Jill's muzak crew from GH, so we're forcing the actors to shoot promos by themselves in the parking lot on their cellphones."

Not digging the hair... long hair would have made the transition from actors a little less pronounced.

Ouch...looks like one big disaster to happen...looks NOTHING like Phyliss...but hell look at all the awful recasts lately in this s hitty show.

With a recast this significant, the hair isn't the issue. If anyone can capture the spirit and fire of Phyllis, it GT. I can't wait until she confronts Sharon. I truly hope this recast works because NuOldBilly + NuNuGrandpaBilly has been horrific.

The hair IS important. I'm willing to overlook the lack of red hair, but the short hairstyle and complete lack of glam, as also shown in that press photo they shot of her, is not Phyllis. Michelle Stafford and Sandra Nelson both were known for their sexy outfits and being sex pots. That is who Phyllis is. Gina looks like a plain jane tomboy ready to appear in a Crystal Chappell production. I hope it translates better on screen.

I got excited for a sec because I saw "Y&R First Look: Gina" and thought it meant Gina as in the lovely, much-missed restaurateur.

This, another trainwreck recast?

I'll pass.

That was almost like something you'd see during the closing credits of a Tyler Perry play. All that was needed were random audience members gushing in the theater lobby about a production they clearly haven't seen yet.

GT and MS might not be too far apart in ages, but that doesn't mean GT is appropriate for the role. She looks too young to be Hunter King's on-screen mom.
