Don't even remind me. I dropped in and out of the last decade of ATWT because some of those stories were not worth the time and effort for me. I was in school too, so I had ample excuse to stop watching for months at a time.

With the way JP likes to 'borrow' old ATWT storylines, I suspect that Victoria will somehow end up tied to railroad tracks.

Terry Lester's Jack sure as hell would've read that paper! Jack should have snapped a picture with his cell phone camera at least. I too thought...'What the what! Who is this man?!'

I was thinking that's the only way to make this triangle the least bit interesting. Regardless, we know Neil will end up with a new lady love five minutes after he breaks up with Hillary (maybe even 5 minutes before) because that's all they make Neil do these days.

Whoever said the conclusion of the Music Box story was a big Dud, boy were they ever speaking truth to power! I suspected that it wouldn't turn out to much but even this fell beneath my low expectations. What foolishness!

I am convinced they did this story because they wanted to try Neil and Hilary on the odd chance that they took off before they went all out with Hevon. KSJ is the lead and they wanted to give him the opportunity. That is all.

This would have been the very story that majority of viewers could have gotten behind and enjoyed. I don't think anyone would begrudge Neil owning a company nor competing with Jack and Victor. But for some reason, this is against the ground rules of the show.

I will NEVER believe there was any desire to make sure a black character/actor had any opportunity, especially when the network still caters to old bigots long past the key demo! This was so that Hevon didn't take off, but they did anyhow. A young black successful pairing on a CBS? Hell no, so before we give them Hevon, let's soil her with Neil first. Half the fans will lose interest by the time they get together! TRUST!

If true, this is truly sad! Then that would mean, the enduring quality of couples like Angie & Jessie has no impact on the bigwigs at SONY/Y&R/CBS.

I've always suspected that, of the shows remaining, Y&R definitely is the most conservative but it's ridiculous how their bias is getting in the way of writing a good show.

I can't see that. Only because if they were dead set against a young successful black pairing then they would have never put Hevon in each other's orbits. And definitely wouldn't have continued it when they saw the popularity growing. They seem to be invested in Hevon and, moreso, Hilary as a young heroine. She is getting that "all about Eve" writing that Chelsea received.

Lord this show is bad day after day! I haven't yet watched Wednesday episode, but even writers Slater and Esser couldn't save this drivel. Katherine's memorial redux is as bad as last year's original by Griffith. And all the actors are getting worse as they perform this material. Sharon Case on the phone ordering Ian not to hurt Mariah...bad, bad acting. Josh Morrow is worse than ever.

And it was downright offensive to have Nikki return to the bottle just after reading Katherine's letter; what a dishonor to have her drink when Katherine and she helped one other over their respective addictions.

The show is tacky, cheap and uninspired. Yes, very much like GL at the end.
