OK. Good. I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees that these idiotic writers are leading towards a Mariah/Noah love affair, and it's gross. Who wants to hump someone that looks like your sibling? A dead one at that. And these "writers" are surely thinking that this is gonna be controversial, but it's gonna do the opposite. It's going to repulse fans and ruin Y&R even further.

I have to stick up for Redaric Williams.

His character doesn't belong with Mariah -- and I agree he'd never go for her -- but RW is a GOOD actor. He's subtle and natural and believable, and I'll take that any day over scene-chewing.

ITA! This has just become a convenient excuse, b/c so many want Billy Miller in the role. What many fans need to come to the realization is that BM obviously doesn't want to remain in Daytime, and thats why he wanted so much time off to do other projects. He only wanted to hold onto Y&R as a backup, but the minute he was offered a contract in primetime, I bet he would've dropped the show like a hot potato.

I really do feel David Tom got a raw deal after returning to the role, then shortly being let go for the lame reason of looking "too young".

Although, I also agree Davetta was the more entertaining Lily, but it's true that she has remained a limited character. I'm no big CK fan, but even with her as Lily hasn't been allowed very much excitement. Like now, all we're seeing with her is repeat complaining about Hilary and her dad's relationship. I do understand her not approving, but it would be so much better if she had more going in her life, and interacting more with others outside of her family unit.

But hey, what can I expect when Neil and Devon are once again interested in the same woman.

IMO, I felt Austin was a pointless character. His presence has been predictable from day one. I knew he would stalk Avery, but didn't realize reasoning be so dumb. I mean, these writers are proving their storytelling is mediocre. Having this guy blaming Avery b/c she defended some man that later killed his mother? Sorry, but dumb plot point, and not the least bit suspenseful. Adding Summer to the story made it even worse....especially wanting the nutcase that she barely knows to make love to her. LOL After the gun went off and shot Paul, I can see his redemption is on the way, because he didn't mean for the gun to go off...GMAB!

The DT situation was uncalled for. They should've allowed him to put his stamp on the adult Billy before recasting, yet again.

I so agree the Cassie character is so overrated. It was obvious they were doing all they could to keep Camryn Grimes on the show, even if she was supposed to be Tyler's ex that resembled Lily.lol I believe they'll work her in there where she'll have some familial connection to Sharon.

I am glad that they created the Lily/Kelly friendship. I hate to say it but I almost feel sorry for CK and some of the stuff they write. (That whole bit about "living in sin" WTH? Seriously, on what planet would Lily say something like that. NEVER. And what kind of pre-school does Moses go to where none of the kids have divorced parents. It was so out there and you could tell CK was struggling to make that scene be somewhat plausible.)

I will say that the Hilary/Neil thing has actually exceeded my very, very low expectations - at least, there is a lot of interaction and screen time with multiple players. I give it a "C+" right now, when I really thought it was going to be "F"
