I want to be mad at myself for believing him but I'm not, I will continue to err on the side of believing someone when they say they were attacked. I am pissed that he did this (for money???) and give the other side so much ammunition. It's selfish and insane and fcuk him for it.

Kandi Burruss is more gracious than I am. I chose to believe Jussie b/c my first inclination is to believe victims. I now believe he made it all up and I am disgusted, disappointed, outraged and confused.  To use a noose (of all things) and conjure up this plan in order to get more money from your job????  I still can't wrap my head around this. 

 

I feel bad for the cast of Empire and his siblings. No one deserved to get sucked into this.

Jussie making more than initially reported does not mean he doesn't believe he should be making more.

I was watching The Talk and the audience reaction to the news was so funny with the noises of shock they were making. I had to laugh at the panel saying how dumb Smollett was as a criminal to leave so much evidence behind. The Talk ladies: Who the hell writes a check when paying someone off?......

I saw people in the tweets saying oh she should have condemned him, blacks stick together, she's a racist, and all the usual [!@#$%^&*], but I thought she was very fair. She's been around enough to not condemn someone unless she has strong reason.

He's apparently back on set today. They're shooting episode 17 of 18 and he's needed in bigger group scenes.
