It was nice seeing Felicia be there for Lucy.

Carly and Franco? The Mile High Club?! So skeeved out. James Franco is SO much better than Roger Howarth.

Kevin and Mac fighting and then sharing that bottle was a gem.

Alexis and Julian talking about their first times was ridiculous.

It was nice that Shawn and Jordan got good facetime today. Doesn't happen much! I liked the moment at the end when Shawn pointed out they crossed a line after everything that went down with their jobs.

Bobbie and Lucy were hysterical! It cracks me up how OTT it was. And Felicia is a gem. "I love you both."

No Levi, no obnoxious kids, no Kiki, no Michael, no Sonny, no Ava, no Plywood, no Britt, no Sabrina, no Felix, no Brad, no Maxie, no Luke, no Molly, no Rafe (is he off the show or something? That would be great!).

So not too bad today!

Korte is script editor not associate headwriter. Ron is sole headwriter and he has four breakdown writers and four script writers. Korte is the edits scripts. Ron edits the breakdowns.

Unlike Y&R where they the headwriters rarely edit anything! Brent Boyd is script editor/doctor and sits at the Hollywood studio. Lisa Seidman edits the breakdowns. Neither one writes scripts. They may write individual scenes.

So anyone think that Shawn might be TJ's father after today?

So was today supposed to be Scott getting thrown under the bus or is there more bc again, I didnt see it. He seemed fine to me

I actually thought Alexis and Julian were good today. Actually aside from the Carly/Franco crap, this episode was fairly decent and I would say it was a good script. This was much better than the Nurses Ball episodes

These scenes were so over the top and made little sense. They both came across ridiculous. I couldn't believe towards the end, Lucy yanked out her weave and they were fighting over it

No

Like Cheap said, no, but we did see a one-sided telephone conversation when Spencer phoned Lesley for a favor. We'd later discover that the favor was an appearance by Lesley's friends, the band Player (Ronn Moss on bass/vocals), at TNB. Spencer dedicated their performance of their hit, Baby Come Back, to Emma. And I've been jammin' to it ever since.

It's so ridiculous that Lesley did what she did as a favor to Spencer. Most other grown folks would have been like, "Little boy, is you crazy?!"

I wouldn't say pointless. A committed pairing having a fun eppy trying to get it on during a commercial flight? I thought it was lite and funny. My problem is that it made no sense to have these two off screen for over a week only for them to return just for this. It just didn't make sense at all. But that's GH lately! Just a bunch of nonsensical sh!t! I was supposed to be ecstatic to have TNB over, but I was underwhelmed, of course, with the first eppy I've watched in over a week.

Lucy and Bobbie was absolutely ridiculous, but if it was reminiscent of history, whatever floats your boat. JZ is just horrific from head to toe. Did she pump some more sh!t into those breasts? Why would I care about Lucy/Scotty/Kevin when that "story" is shown once every 5 weeks?

Alexis and Jillian could not be more chem free if they tried. NLG still looks very uncomfortable in these scenes and Jillian coming out of his man panties?! PUKE! I still don't take him serious because the character s/b about 60 if not more. Dreadful miscast and deSORASed for no reason but so Craptini can whack off when he's half naked!

Jordan and Shawn were nice, and Sean Blakemore is such a God! So fine! I would not mind him pinning Ava to a wall, however. He has better chem with MW.

I like the idea of what they were doing with DnA, but Ian Buchanan has expired! Just tired as hell. And can they just stop saying "finally get Jillian Jerome"? The man has not done a damn thing! I'm a witness!!!!!

If today was a good show and the best in a while, we have gone about 6000 miles passed truly fvcked!

    • Definitely. It's not bad at all, but yesterday was just an anomaly considering we haven't had an episode that bad before.
    • I caught most of the episodes during that time period.   Subsequently Bell or Alden (I forget which) revealed that Peggy's rape story was done for strategic ratings purposes.  Chris's rape had occurred earlier, before the show really caught on & was near the middle or the lower end of the ratings.  Bell had been pleased with the concept and wanted the rape story to play-out for a much larger audience.  By the 1975-1976 season, the show was near the top of the ratings and was extremely popular among high school & college kids.  He felt the time was right to re-tell the story.   When I was watching in 1976, I didn't find it especially "cruel" that lightning had struck twice in the Brooks family.  I felt it was more of a continuation of Chris's storyline, giving her a chance to continue dealing with the trauma of her own rape.
    • Dan being de facto HW explains a lot. It's clear the show changed direction on a dime according to his interests or whims.
    • Really enjoyed today's episode the whole way through. Having Drew and Nina as red carpet hosts was a brilliant move. You could really see Cameron Mathison channeling his own experiences as a TV host for shows like Entertainment Tonight, but putting a more sinister spin on the host's glib patter. And Cynthia Watros gave some amazing reaction shots during Drew's interactions with people like Carly, Joss, and Willow.  I also really liked the Alexis/Kristina scenes. I know a lot of us find Kristina exasperating, and she is, but Kate Mansi and Nancy Lee Grahn do a great job of portraying a very real dysfunctional mother/daughter dynamic.
    • The episode she got killed off in - which made Wendy a prime suspect in her murder (her car was spotted outside the house) and then Wendy mysteriously disappeared from town.

    • What Dan Curtis never seemed to understand -- and what Art Wallace knew from the get-go -- is that a slow, suspenseful build-up creates a far more satisfying episode than the constant "cliffhangers" that never amounted to much.  ("I'm going to kiillll you, Julia!" before every commercial break, lol.)
