It's always dangerous when dealing with one of the few (the only?) HIV Poz characters on a soap--one who was kept alive in the first place to offer people hope back when the lifespan of someone with HIV was pretty brief. And now when medication is all that much stronger, it would have seemed both in poor taste and simply odd IMHO (also, I wasn't watching, but wasn't the story that her meds were tampered with? Which again I think sends a dangerous message--a bit like the backlash on Santa Barbara I believe it was when a woman's gynecologist raped her,) not that soaps should worry about messages over good story, IMHO, but when it's not even a good story and GH is notorious for poor taste in their stories, I agree with Vee here.

I'm happy Ned sees through Luke's bullsh*t but Wally Kurth seemed to be playing his scenes for laughs today. The whole thing felt staged and awkward. It's too bad since he's usually better. But anyone going off on Luke meets my approval. Though for some reason, Tracy taking Luke's side over Ned's cracked me up instead of enraging me.
