Complications from Aids was rumored/specced but also a car accident at the end of it all they settled on the lab explosion saving Jason' serum. Kim wanted the Robin character to die, but Valentini talked her out of it to return.

It's always dangerous when dealing with one of the few (the only?) HIV Poz characters on a soap--one who was kept alive in the first place to offer people hope back when the lifespan of someone with HIV was pretty brief. And now when medication is all that much stronger, it would have seemed both in poor taste and simply odd IMHO (also, I wasn't watching, but wasn't the story that her meds were tampered with? Which again I think sends a dangerous message--a bit like the backlash on Santa Barbara I believe it was when a woman's gynecologist raped her,) not that soaps should worry about messages over good story, IMHO, but when it's not even a good story and GH is notorious for poor taste in their stories, I agree with Vee here.

I think that tweet Franks made has to do with the Julian actor leaving, he's been bombarded with that rumor of WDV leaving for quite a while now..Also they are tweeting the actor as well.

Ava is not fooling anyone. She's so desperate to relive her youth that she might as well wear a glittery pink 'yolo' shirt. I am so beyond sick of everyone acting like she's a sexy dangerous soap bitch. This is what they did with Obrecht, but at least Kathleen Gati hams it up and channels Faye Dunaway in Mommie Dearest. And Ava is on every single day. I want Julian to shoot her between the eyes. The one time I enjoy Julian's smarm and inflated ego is when he's giving Ava the business.

Alexis thinks she looks so fabulous when she looks like a raccoon and a horse at the same time.

Laura Wright's hair was not flattering today. It was embarrassing! It was like a hideous wig from some Halloween store, ugh!

Carlos is ugly a.f. He and Sabrina are revolting. Teresa Castillo can't do anything other than whine or shriek. I don't know why I didn't just skip their scenes. And his 'confession' to being A.J.'s 'killer' is supposed to be noble and such a sacrifice for his precious Sabrina.

I'm happy Ned sees through Luke's bullsh*t but Wally Kurth seemed to be playing his scenes for laughs today. The whole thing felt staged and awkward. It's too bad since he's usually better. But anyone going off on Luke meets my approval. Though for some reason, Tracy taking Luke's side over Ned's cracked me up instead of enraging me.

Poor, poor Morgan. Are you f*cking kidding me?! And when he cracked the vase over Julian's head, that was just absurd. I didn't buy it. And it sucks that he saved Ava. But then again, Julian would have wasted his time trying to talk tough anyway.

Good to see Shawn today even if he was just Sonny's sycophant.

Ian Buchanan always has that blank stare on his face but I did enjoy his scenes with Finola today.

And as always, it's not Sonny's fault. Nothing ever is. I will give props to LLC/Olivia for being restrained, especially at the end when she confronted Sonny, but if the previews for tomorrow mean anything...

Julian is such a little bitch. For all his shirtless and big tough macho mob lord posturing, he sure goes down fast lmao. Ava and Morgan are such dumbasses. Julian's knocked out but they leave the gun next to him and sit a few feet away to have a convo, also saying exactly where Ava will be hiding... because there's no chance Julian can hear them, right?

I just don't know what to say about the Luke/Ned/TraQuart mess. Wally was REALLY bad in those scenes. Damn.
